Hotel location is great but had back to back issues with the first room we were given and then moved to another room that was dirty and smelled like mildew. Was told it was a premium room but there was nothing premium about it. Construction is still going on and they start drilling early in the morning. No in-room coffee maker or kleenex or spare toilet paper. Excellent morning restaurant service. Ocean views from rooms, bar and restaurant are beautiful. Rooms need a re-fresh. Beach only steps away is beautiful. Only 10 to 15 minutes from the best of Monterrey and Carmel.

Cons (-) Didn’t sleep at all the first night because of screaming baby in the room next to me and thin walls. Moved rooms and had no working heater on wall or floor. Just said “error” and we froze all night barely slept again . Staff simply said oh I’ll have them check on the that. Had higher hopes for the amount of money spent.

Cons (-) The rooms smelled musty/moldy and for the price were not worth it. I expected a nicer room, better toiletries, and a better bed. It felt like a motel.
