Pros: Big pool.Nice park.Good parking place.Very clean rooms Pollite stuff And the mosti impresing ,music under water for perfect relax in the pool
Cons: Same ,but not bad breakfirst every day and only cherry paradise as fresh vegetable
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful garden around the hotel, very inviting swimming pools with thermal, warm water. Excellent social space (even special room for card players with typical green tables ...). Fantastic, sumptuous breakfast in the garden, good drinks in the bar.
Cons: I would appreciate extension of timing for enjoying thermal pools into evening hours. Advice for those who as myself are planning evening visits in nearby Padova - better go by car, since evening bus connections between Montegrotto and Padova are very, very few ....
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Excelent spa with real thermal waters. Clean and serious people.
Cons: Internet connection has a lot to improve.

10,0 Excellent
Pros: Responsive staff (many thanks to Jenny who was very attentive). Perfect cleanliness everywhere. Tasty and various food for lunch and diner. Fine thermal pools. Free bikes. When you plan to go for the whole day (traveling to Venice for example) you can ask to replace lunch with lunch-box that will be ready early in the morning. The waiters in restaurant were very attentive
Cons: When we arrived we got bad room in the corner with small balcony and rather dark. It was not the room we saw when booked the hotel. We asked another room but got it on the next day only. Wi-Fi didn't work the way it was designed so you need to go to reception and ask for PIN code
8,3 Excellent
Pros: Excellent spa, many helpful staff members. The decor was fresh, timeless & classic. The spa personnel, especially receptionist (Luisa) were wonderful! The dining staff & chef went to great effort to provide Celiac safe & tasty meals. The best was gluten free fritti di mare & also Tiramisu. Thank you everyone.
Cons: Pool area was poorly organized with space available for people there for only a few days limited & poorly explained. There seemed to be mass seat saving with little actual chair occupancy. The clientele was almost exclusively German. Lap swimming area was never observed by most guests.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Everything
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Very cozy hotel. Beautiful interior. Very polite and helpful staff. Room with balcony. Delicious and varied food. Wonderful location of the hotel. I really want to stay in this hotel again and again.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Kind, smiling and helpful staff. Pillow menu. Excellent breakfast.
7,1 Good
Pros: Clean rooms. Comfortable beds. Nice breakfast. Holiday
Cons: No fridge in room, not generous withl soap and shampoo . Room very clean. Nice view from 2nd room after I asked to be moved from a very small low room.. spa pools not included in price quoted so need to be aware of that. Nice breakfast.
8,5 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast and the dinner have been exquisite. Also the thermal pools are great for swimming and relaxing.
Cons: the rooms could need a renovation, the standard is like 20 years before.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Excellent services, it's a three stars hotel, but could definitely have another star! The rooms and the common places are kept very clean. The garden is big and well mantained. Four outside pools. Amazing choice of food, every day a different menù for lunch and dinner. The suites are spacious. You can even choose a pillow from a list. The staff is really kind and professional. Huge choice of different SPA treatments.
Cons: Just some minor details: The service at the restaurant is quite slow, but that's not such a problem as it's place you will visit to relax and also enjoy the excellent food. The lighting in the rooms could be improved, if you use the table to work there is a lack of light for reading. The mattresses are a little bit hard. I will appreciate if there it will be the possibility of keeping the bathroom towels for more than one day and if they fix the toilet flush in order to save some precious water.

8,0 Excellent
Pros: The swimming pool is great, and the breakfast too.
Cons: There was no corkscrew nor bottle opener in the room (although there was beer provided in the minibar - how was I supposed to open it?). Also, I am used to having an electric kettle to make tea in the room (available in every 3*-4* hotel), there was none. The reception guys told me that I can get all I need in the bar downstairs. Also, the swimming pool was a little bit too chlorinated to my taste; we smelled chlorine for several days afterwards.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: All the staff were v friendly. I loved the hot thermal pools and we requested a balcony and view and we got it. Thank you!
Cons: I liked it all.

10,0 Excellent
Pros: Everything
Cons: Nothing
5,8 Okay
Pros: Only swimming pool area
Cons: Room, hotel itself
7,1 Good
Pros: We liked the thermal pools, very nice! Breakfast was good, especially if compared with other hotels in Italy we have experienced. Location was very practical - train station about 15 minutes on foot, with good links to Padova, Venice and other places. Also bus service to Padova, although relatively slow. Low level of car traffic in our part of Montegrotto Terme, no traffic noise to be heard from our room.
Cons: Beds were 100% italian style - no continental quilt filled with feathers, just a blanket over linen, and a small pillow. With so many guests from Northern Europe, it would be nice to have continental quilts and softer larger pillows. Heating system made slight but permanent background noise, could be modernized. The Dinner offered was limited to a single selection for each course (at least for the one evening we attended). A buffet would have been nicer, more flexible, and maybe even less stressful for the waiters. Also the full menu courses were simply too much for us. Luckily, some nice restaurants in the neighbourhood offered alternatives.
7,9 Good
Pros: The spa was fantastic really comfortable friendly atmosphere definitely would recommend to others.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The spa was wonderful. We were in a renovated room which was beautifull.
Cons: The only thing that we didn't like was the coffee at breakfast

Pros: big room, thermal outside pool (almost no guests), nice breakfast, location near Terme Relilax and good pizzeria
Cons: hotel is old school, spa is a little bit scary and small (we booked terme Relilax for spa and pools which are much better), inside pool is useless since it is too hot to stay in there, overall pretty high price

8,8 Excellent
Pros: Thermal pool was fantastic
Cons: If you weren’t half or full board there was very little option
9,2 Excellent
Pros: The room was very nice. Wish we would have had a better view though. The dinner was okay and the breakfast was continental. The pool, sauna and Jacuzzi was very nice. I liked the wet spa grotto. The outside swimming pool was very nice and heated..
Cons: The room carpet was a bit old.. the breakfast scrambled eggs and bacon didn’t look so good but the crossants and coffee was good.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: It was convenient to the Venice airport, less than an hour, and close to where our friends live. The pool and spa areas were wonderful and the dive center very interesting.
Cons: It was near the road, so a little noisy. Ask for a room on the back side.
7,0 Good
Pros: Y-40 pool, staff
Cons: dining options (limited flexibility on both timing and menu)
8,8 Excellent
Pros: We stayed at this hotel as it was right next to Y-40 and that was excellent for us. The swimming pools were also lovely with the thermal spa waters
Cons: The hotel had no information packs in the rooms telling you how things worked - particularly the wi-fi. Also, they hadn't put spa robe(s) in my room which everybody else made good use of when going down to the poolside.

9,0 Excellent
Pros: Spa pools and robe and towel provided. Breakfast was abundant - more that one could expect. Reception staff were very friendly and helpful. Nice shops and restaurants nearby.
Cons: Waiters in the breakfast room did not welcome us on arrival or show us to a table. Also, over 4 breakfasts, they never came to enquire if we wanted tea or coffee. We had to call them or go over to their tea/coffee stand.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Great pools, large and never overcrowded, excellent spa treatments with bio products, perfect attention to details to make guests comfortable, like option to use the thermal area till late afternoon on check out day, free bathrobe and towel, slippers, spin dryer available in pool bathrooms, complimentary mineral water in room fridge and, on last day, bottle of wine as farewell present!
Cons: Everything was perfect
8,8 Excellent
Pros: Hotel maybe is little bit oldish and rooms are maybe little bit small (not Italian small but let's say smaller I use to see in 4 star hotels) but in no mean bad or ruined or .... no, totally opposite, I find it among better hotels in Abano/Montecatini area (we are regular guests in this area for more than 10 years). Parking is spacious, if you are worried about your car you can get a garage. Spa area was quite big, with more than enough facilities not to be overcrowded even on weekend. Breakfast was OK, even for 4 star hotel. On our last day we had to leave the room until 11 but they said we can keep towels/bathrobe and stay at the pool as long we want. They even provide us with small room where we use to leave our stuff until departure. Very nice gesture. Something rather important - this hotel WILL NOT charge you additionally for pool/spa pass, for towels, for bathrobe, for swimming cap - and this is not so common in this area. Some will try to charge you everything (see what I said about Hotel Savoy for example)
Cons: One funny thing - Italians have their own 230 Vac power outlets, usually hotels have universal one (combined Schuko or German / Italian) not this one - in fact only one was in the bathroom ... so I ended up charging the laptop in the bathroom. In fact working on it in the bathroom - that was sooooo funny to my family.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: The attentio to detail is perfect the staff are amazing
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Facilities, swimming pools and grotta
Cons: NA

Cons: staff very tough no helping us also was very bad when we arrival after 12 med night they said check out 10 : 30 AM i didnt sea like this in my life i feel they stool our money
8,3 Excellent
Pros: Great terme for those interested in more theraputic resources than wow factor. There is an incredible acqua walking path that utilizes varying water temperature, depths and rocks to stretch tendons and plantar fascia! My feet feel better than they have in a year after only 2 short treatments! There is also an incredible assortment of mature bonsai trees.
Cons: None of the water falls were in use.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Good variety breakfast added with assortment of fruit and Prosecco. Good coffee. Comfortable bed and pillows. Plenty of shady areas under the fur trees around the pool particulary rescuing in hot sunny weather. Nice and helpful reception staff.
Cons: Very narrow passage into the shower cabin,- not for a stout person,- difficult to slip in without scratching one's belly. Though there's one positive moment about it -it's calling for putting off weight ))).

Pros: Comfortable bed, tasty breakfast, good swimming pools, lovely sauna, quiet room, friendly staff, close to everything in the city

9,6 Excellent
Pros: Hotel staff and facilities very professional. Live entertainment on a Saturday night. The age group is 50+ and families so not really an active place but very very friendly. Choice of 7 pools, lot of water to swim around in!!
Cons: A lot of hotels in Montegrotto include the price of the spa in the price of the hotel. Patrarca doesn't - so 20 Euro per person on top of the room (the spa is open to people to walk in at 25 Euros each).

9,7 Excellent
Pros: The food choices with half board were outstanding and the most flavoursome of any restaurants worldwide.
Cons: There was nothing to dislike as the staff were very agreeable and helpful with all our requests
8,8 Excellent
Cons: Internet Wifi is very bad every few seconds down
3,8 Mediocre
Pros: The only real redeeming value to this property is that it is next to the train station which brings you into Venice in about 40 minutes.
Cons: The hotel looks tired and needs furniture upgrading. The experience at the restaurant was terrible. An all inclusive dinner is offered for 28 Euros a person. DO NOT EAT HERE. You can do much better across the street at any restaurant from a quality and price perspective. The restaurant manager was EXTREMELY rude. I have travelled extensively and never encountered such disdain for guests from a hotel manager. My reservation for 6 persons was for 8:30. Upon being seated he informed us that we had to order immediately because the kitchen was closing in 15 minutes. We were rushed to the point of my wife's plate being taken away before she was finished eating. We were then invited to leave the restaurant at 9:30 to attend the bar area to finish our dinner. This was mentioned to the hotel manager upon checkout who just gave lip service to my concerns but nothing else. Any other reputable establishment would have at least offered a discount or some other similar gesture. Beware also that this hotel "nickel and dimes " you to death charging for absolutely everything. There are better places to stay in the vicinity.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent location and rooms. Great Spa and swimming pools. Amazing friendly and professional staff and restaurants. A big thank you to the chef! Wonderful hotel. Best solution for young couples and families. Warm spaces, very good entertainments every day and night. Mioni royal san is absolutely the best choice in Montegrotto Terme!
8,3 Excellent
Pros: Classic mid range hotel attracting all ages. Popular with Italians as well as some foreign tourists. Montegrotto is a spa resort with many (and perhaps similar) hotels. This one is great, being right by the train station (10 mins to Padova) and close to the small town centre. Lovely pools and spa with professional and helpful staff. We enjoyed it all. I telephoned in advance, as our flight meant a late arrival, to arrange a private shuttle car from Marco Polo Airport. This is €35 pp and worth it to avoid trouble getting a train from Venice Mestre. Lots to see in Padova, and if you have time do also visit Villa dei Vescovi in the nearby Eugenee hills. A wonderful place of frescoes and more. No bus on Sunday so we took a taxi €25 each way. Worth every penny.
Cons: I had upgraded to a comfort room with a balcony. Our first room on 3rd (top) floor was noisy with an air con unit above and restaurant below. We moved for the next 3 nights to a quieter room along the corridor. The so-called ‘garden view’ is actually above the car park, but it’s not noisy. It’s worth noting that although all rooms are theoretically the same size, our second room was smaller as was its balcony. And looking down to the first floor they had much larger balconies. I didn’t mind but if it matters to you, it’s worth telephoning the hotel to explain exactly what you’re after.
7,1 Good
Pros: Near Y-40 the deep joy where I wanted to go with a reasonable price. The breakfast was fine. Free car parking.
Cons: The bathroom was not cleaned properly some urine spots were on the seat and the funny thing it was covered by a paper as cleaned! WiFi was really bad as it is only for web surfing doesn't work at all with social media (snapchat, instagram, youtube).

Pros: 4th time in hotel, so they upgraded us, my niece who was with me is a gluten free vegetarian, but the restaurant went out of their way to make something for her. The spa staff were amazing and very informative, will definitely be going back. Really good that the train into Venice is only metres from the hotel entrance.
Cons: Rooms were lovely except for the really hard beds.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Everything
2,9 Mediocre
Pros: Bed was ok
Cons: The room was awful - room 109 Maximum 2 star on a good day. Bedroom had no drawers... my clothes remained in suitcase and the same for my son. The air conditioning was terrible ... situated at ground level next to window by the bed and no way to adjust the directional flow. The shower screen was multi folding and let water out of the bath. The bath plug hole had been replaced and was sharp. Water from other rooms impacts the shower when the use it. The safe was 20 cm wide by 15 cm deep. Nowhere to keep a laptop or valuables. The hotel recommended on their document to keep them in the reception safe including cash. This is a joke. I did not have access to laptops from 9:30pm til 7am after depositing... was not informed of this after putting them in the safe The balcony had a nail on it and had not been cleaned. Chairs and table dirty.

Pros: The wonderful spa had particularly long opening hours , a lovely detail if you arrive late after sightseeing. A true delight to bathe in the hot water in the morning mist. Our suite was spacious and elegant with a nice balcony , no kitsch photos or any vulgar details. The staff were adorable. Free bikes and easy to locate.
Cons: It would have been nice to be given bath robes for the clients and also the breakfast fruit juice could have been better, fresh juice for example, particularly in a hotel dedicated to health. But the eggs were good and the coffee too.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Nice hotel, friendly staff. We only stayed the night, arriving late and leaving early, but our impression was this would be a good place for a short break in this beautiful spa region.
Cons: Everything we saw, was good. Great breakfast. The room is large and therefore not very cosy, but I guess that's unavoidable in a big hotel. Unfortunately, we did not have time to check out the pools and other facilities so I cannot say anything about that.
5,0 Okay
Pros: The reception staff was kind, everything was clean, the hotel met my request for a double bed.
Cons: Altogether, the hotel is 3 star. Wifi is extremely poor, even at the reception area. Plus it switches off all the time, it is extremely irritating. The bathroom had a quite shabby shower courtain, whereas one would expect a shower cabinn. Plus it was too short. The bathroom fittings included an ashtrayholder and an ashrtray, so there you go how contemporary it is. Regarding toiletries, there was only soap and strictly 1 bag of showergel per day. No shampoo, let alone something else. In a spa hotel where you go to the pool at least once a day, one would expect more cosmetic/ hygiene products. Not because one wants to save money by using free toilertries, but because shampoos, bodymilks etc take a lot of space and weight in the suitcase. Then, the safe in the room is ancient, with a key. Then one needs to take care of the key. Breakfast so so. Below expectations by all means.

Pros: Great pool and spa facilities. Clean and comfortable. Very close to train station. Balcony with big windows.
Cons: All staff was very friendly and helpful except for one lady with short blond hair. We asked for late checkout and she gave us a lot of attitude.
4,6 Okay
Pros: Breakfast, parking spot
Cons: Receptionist (I was standing in front of her for 15 min while she was writing something and chating with another receptionist). I was booked deluxe room( modernly furnished, air-conditioned room with a pool-view balcony, a minibar and a flat-screen TV, and they gave me classic room - old furnished with a view on the train station and loud train, not well clean and with smell. Unfortunately there was no deluxe room for me. The picture on booking are not the same as the situation in hotel. The hotel has old charm but I don t like that..

6,3 Good
Pros: Very nice and kind owner, delicious breakfast, comfortable beds.
Cons: We actually lived in a family house with their personal stuffs around that made us feel like being a family guest in someone else’s family. It was a very uncomfortable feeling so we cancelled our second night. If someone knows what to expect it can be a very nice and friendly stay though .

Cons: Difficult to find, very poor Wifi.
