Pros: Staff was excellent, accommodations were excellent. I will definitely return on my next visit.

Pros: Awesome historic B&B! I love history and this inn along with the immediate surrounding buildings take you back in time. It's like a little slice of history that the city forgot. Breakfast was great and the chef was very nice and knowledgeable. He also can accommodate almost any special dietary need.

Cons: I couldn't stay longer!

Pros: Loved the charm of the BNB and the location. It was close to lots of shops and restaurants. The host gave us a lot of information which I’m sure would have been useful had we not only been passing through and staying for one night. The pool was gorgeous and relaxing.

Cons: The host was a bit off putting. On arrival he was nice enough and offered a hour long conversations with lots of tongue in cheek humor and filled us in on all of the aspects of the BNB and the local area which was very hospitable and would have been invited after checking in since we had just arrived from a long 12 hour drive and were ready to get in our room and relax. He was kind enough to prepare the room for us 2-3 hours early which was wonderful so we weren’t about to complain about the long intro because he didn’t have to go out of his way to do that. But then comes the part of this review that I really don’t love sharing because it’s such a shame how the host handled us when we used the washer and dryer at the BNB. Late in the evening while relaxing at the pool, the host walked toward us after arriving back to the BNB from a jaunt and approached us rather rudely saying, “Who gave you permission to use the washer and dryer?”, in a very accusatory, very demeaning manor. I had to ask him what he said because I couldn’t believe he had approached us in such a rude way. He then said “Who gave you permission to use the Laundry?”. I felt embarrassed and uncomfortable and just said, “I apologize, we thought it might be included.” He followed with, “No it wasn’t included in the listing.” Then he snipped at us and started to walk away and said, “That’s okay! I’ll just charge you for it.” And stormed off. The way he handled that was so child like and so unprofessional. For the rest of our stay we felt very unwelcome and uncomfortable. He could have came to us in a completely different way. I believe this man needs to consider the way he speaks with his customers. We decided to sleep in and miss breakfast the next morning because we did not want to tolerate any further unprofessional conversation, of which we’ve read about in previous reviews. Everything else about the BNB and our experience was fine, but he could have totally approached that situation differently.

Pros: Loved Berney Fly! Stephen the inn keeper was fabulous. He gave us a tour of the home as well as ideas of what to do ok our unexpected delay in Monile. The rooms and bathroom and other amenities were very clean and comfortable. The best part was how fabulous the breakfast was!

Pros: We enjoyed the friendliness of Steve, the location, the breakfast (especially his Southern Grits) and the private room that we required (as to to not wake others after a late night at work) and ambiance of an "Older Gentrified Stately Home" being revitalized before our eyes !

Cons: Not enough lighting outside. There is no sign for self parking. We were assigned a room number only to get there and the key doesn’t work. Call the front desk and find out it was the wrong room number. The incorrect number was written on the keycard. Not nearly enough lighting in the room. Our sheets had cuts in them. Another bed sheet had stains on them. The icons on the phone don’t work and there wasn’t anything there to say: just dial 0. Definitely an overrated hotel. My view? A wall. I made this reservation SO along ago, my requests weren’t honored. That’s a new one for Marriott. Clerk told us we had a king but when we made it to the correct room, it was 2 queens.

Pros: The hotels location was ideal for the festivities. It was beautifully decorated for the holidays. Just perfect for beautiful pictures and memories.

Cons: I didn't like that the assigned room was to the back of the hotel with no view and a good walking distance. I dont know if it was because it was a discounted room. The room it self was some what smaller than I expected. There was no microwave or fridge.

Pros: The inn has a beautifully quaint atmosphere. Despite the large size the inn seemed like an intimate bed and breakfast. Very clean and quiet with lovely rooms. I literally can't say enough good things about this place. Pleanty of floor to ceiling windows and light if you desire it. Such a relaxing inn. Awesome helpful and friendly staff. I will be back for sure.

Pros: Magnificent hotel with amazing atmosphere. Good price, great location nearby lively street with bars but still quiet, easy parking, huge comfy stylish room and friendly receptionist Charlotte. Breakfast included.

Cons: The hotel is extremely loud in the morning. Also, the bathtub definitely needed replaced. The multiple cracks and scratches in the tub led to a dirty looking bathroom.

Cons: First room we were given smelled of sewer gas. We were given another room that was fine. Pool was not open during hours that it should have been.

Pros: The room was spacious and clean with a view overlooking the Bay.

Cons: We arrived at 4 PM and our room wasn't ready and available for us to use for an hour. We had to leave and then we returned around 5 PM. Later, we went to the top floor bar looking for food and drinks. We ordered drinks from a bartender that seemed put out that we also wanted food. The food we ordered apparently came from room service, it arrived an hour later, cold, and in room service containers. The top floor had an amazing view and the seating was comfortable. Hotel guests would flock to this venue if it served decent food, drinks and offered good service.

Pros: Right off the bat I could tell it wasn't place I wanted to be. This is a motel and it's not even advertised as it. This box doesn't even have enough to tell how bad it was. We ended up not even staying.

Cons: Room was dirty ciggarette ashes and sticky crap on the furniture roaches crawling up the walls I was scared to sleep under the covers so I used a Mardi Gras stuff animal as a pillow and my jacket as covers. Stains of unknown origins on the furniture horrible stay
