Location, staff and was very clean.
The bed was bad and uncomfortable. The shower was horrible for a 4 stars, super uncomfortable to take a shower without water going out of the tub to the floor. To summarize the place was a 3 stars and super expensive for how the room is. Basically one of the worse value for money I’ve ever gotten. I wouldn’t have complained if I paid 50 euros per night but this wasn’t the case by far.
the front desk controls the temperature of the room. it got very hot at night
Staff were friendly. Location is excellent
It was a noisy room with continuous problems with the aircon. Breakfast was very limited.
Location is good, lots of cafes and shops near. Big bathroom. Relatively good breakfast.
We really love this chain of hotels so we booked it although it’s a bit pricy, we are used to hospitable staff and facilities and delicious breakfast. The standard room is super small although it’s 18m, almost half is the bathroom. The window which by the way doesn’t open looks at a wall and SMELLY patio. Also the room is not very new as well as the hotel itself. I can’t say it was very clean. There are no bathrobes and no umbrellas in a 4 star hotel (although they DO have a stand for umbrellas outdoors)! Breakfast is not compared to a usual Mercure experience but it’s relatively ok. The staff doesn’t seem very helpful and they even don’t ask you anything when you leave like ‘was everything fine?’ Very strange Mercure experience for us I repeat. Definitely don’t recommend to stay there for its money! We rented a fabulous 70 m and two storey (!!!) apartment for a cheaper price across the road for the rest of our stay.
Location of the hotel was truly good: it is 2 minutes walking by foot from metro station and 20 minutes by walk from Duomo. Room was realy clean, not small. We checked in early in the morning inspite of 2 p.m..
We lived in the 4th floor, but lift was only till 3th, so, we had to transport our luggages using the stairs.Nobody helped us!
The elegant 4-star Hotel Mercure Milano Centro is strategically located in the heart of Milan, 1.2 miles from Centrale station, opposite the historic Porta Venezia and the park of the same name, an unexpected green oasis that is perfect for jogging. It is ideal for guests traveling for business or leisure who want to immerse themselves in this dynamic city: the Cathedral, La Scala and the famous fashion district can be easily reached in just a few minutes on foot or by metro (stop 5.5 yds from the hotel).
