Cons: Rooms are old.
1,0 Poor
Pros: The view has great, but the rooms are very far from the lobby and resort area.

7,9 Good
Pros: Legazpi restaurant is Outstanding! Brisas Beach club with Magdaleno excellent. Service and employees outstanding throughout. Front Desk, Bellboys, Restaurants, housekeeping all 5stars
Cons: Air Conditioning was not good. High Temp and high humidity you would hope to retire to a room with good air conditioner but units in both rooms would not get below 28 degrees C, which is unacceptable and extremely uncomfortable. Golf course was disappointing, could be better maintained/manicured for the amount of green fees charged.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: The property is exquisite and memorable and the staff was very helpful.
Cons: The food is mediocre.
7,5 Good
Pros: A picture perfect confortable friendly place to stay.

Cons: The water on the pool didn’t looked clear Looks like its not clean
8,0 Excellent
Pros: Location is very good. The hotel is beautiful except for the restaurant.
Cons: The food at the restaurant was not great. It was just ok. Definitely overpriced. The bathroom was beautiful but the soap dispenser in the shower was broken, details like that made the hotel look like it's not been taken care of. Internet was not free.

5,0 Okay
Cons: No waiter service / weather / no ability to reserve in restaurants / no drink on arrival / show not fully operational
9,6 Excellent
Pros: The gym is grate, the restaurant Bugambilias is even more faster than the snack bar and the variety of different pools is excellent the little beach offers a nice time snorkeling...
Cons: The toilet in the room are not exactly private and the snack bar is not to quickly like should be but I think the price compensate the inconvenience...
3,3 Mediocre
Pros: Food was good.
Cons: We didnt get the rooms we wanted. Family members had 4 people in the room and they put them in a one bed room. When we asked for two bed room they said they were out and there was nothing they can do. We had booked from feburary and stayed there in July. Water pressure sucked, elevator broke down, and there wasn't hot water two of the three days we stayed. The only reason why vacation wasn't ruined was because I have family that lives there. This is the first barcelo I have stained in and wasn't sad to leave. Will never stay at this barcelo ever again. Would recommend Barcelo at Riviera maya and los cabos san jose; they have great staff and focus on you having the best experience.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Great staff

Pros: If you have business to do in the Port , it is a good place to spend a night or two.
Cons: Being close to the port and on a main road means that the area is far from pretty or pleasant .No restaurants in walking distance.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very good and lots of choice. Room was very clean. Enjoyed the swimming pool, very relaxing.
Cons: Location wasn’t great as we were on a main road facing the busy port with lots of trucks 24 hours a day. But we managed to get transport easily to take us where we wanted to visit.
7,1 Good
Pros: Staff cleaning Coffee fruit
Cons: Swimming pool cold and in the shade at300. Having to bus and taxi for meals u need a waffle machine for breakfast.
5,8 Okay
Pros: The room was okay...nothing special...just a typical Holiday Inn room.

8,3 Excellent
Pros: I was there for business and the hotel was very clean, staff was friendly and the location great.
Cons: The fact that there is no internet in the resort besides in the reception area. Being there for business this was quite important and crucial.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Very nice and well maintained property.
7,5 Good
Cons: The food
8,3 Excellent
Pros: the bed was so comfortable!!!! The facilities were all so clean, the staff was so friendly and attentive. The Italian dinner by reservation was delicious!
Cons: I wished they had more of a food selection. It was all delicious and well made, just more of a selection.
8,8 Excellent
Pros: The view was beautiful! Staff is very friendly. Big room with fridge. They keep water and sodas stocked in them. The location is great. The pool never got crazy crowded so it was enjoyable for all. Lots of places to sit in the shade and enjoy the view. The sun rising from behind means you get practically the whole morning in a shaded pool. The rooms were nice and cool for when you want to escape the heat. They had shows and dance parties in the evenings. Sports on the beach. I saw a children's play area but it wasn't open when we went, appeared under construction so call ahead if this matters to you. The gym is big and has free weights, cardio machines, a TRX cable and lots of room to use for other workouts.
Cons: The food was not great. It was edible and there were options to choose from. It's good in that you won't overeat since the taste isn't great. Desserts were hit or miss. The drinks are strong on the sugar, low on alcohol. Ketchup is watered down. No blankets on the bed. Just the sheets and a thin cover. With the air blasting, one may want thicker cover. But I also didn't check to see if I could adjust the air and I didn't ask for a blanket so it's possible this isn't an issue that can't be resolved. I was fine with the sheets but others may not be. Not a lot for teens to do, it seemed. Or we weren't aware of those activities. Just swimming and the beach, maybe a boat ride but would have been nice to know all the options. So do your research ahead of time. We weren't there long enough for it to matter.
8,3 Excellent
Pros: The resort is a well run, busy, very-family friendly resort that seems to be popular with Mexican families. Beautiful protected bay, very safe paddling area. Beach is a little short for good walking but very peaceful. We also enjoyed the nightly shows and the a la carte restaurants.
Cons: We are a retired couple who were expecting a week of relaxation. Much as we like children, we weren't expecting quite as many. Every meal in the buffet facility was punctuated by wailing or screaming children, no doubt exhausted by a day in the sun and short on naps. Tip- the a la carte restaurants are good and recommended to get away from the chaos in the buffet area. Final complaint - the recreation staff blare music, with huge speakers, heavy bass, at the pool from first thing in the morning to 7-8 pm. If your room overlooks the beach and pool, its hard to get away from it.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Everything else
Cons: No ice machines
9,4 Excellent
Pros: Loved the staff! There was not one staff member who failed to acknowledge us every time with a pleasant smile. I especially enjoyed the water aerobics. After each session we were given a temple massage by the instructors.
Cons: We could only think of 2 things that would have made our stay more enjoyable. The first one was all the birds and their droppings in the open restaurant. That's a tough one cuz we enjoyed sitting out there. Probably the our biggest concern were the waiters in the ala carte restaurant. Compared to the waiters in the other restaurant they were very slow and not as attentive. Both times we were there, they failed to bring us our second drink order.
4,2 Okay
Pros: BeSutiful
Cons: Staff the women in the dining and towel area very unfriendly

4,5 Okay
Cons: This was under construction. Two rooms down they were breaking down 12 inch thick roofs off of 4 rooms. Working 9am to 7pm with multiple jackhammers. Very disappointed that we were not told ahead of time so we could get a room within the free cancellation. Lots of noise and mess even ended up on our patio. Shame on you booking and Shane on hotel for depending on reviews and no follow up. We have used booking through out Canada Mexico and USA. I will be looking for another provider. Have stayed at marbella several times and will be looking for another hotel.

Pros: Beautiful view from our room. Nice ocean breeze.
Cons: The beds were very hard. We were pretty isolated and had to take a taxi wherever we went.
5,4 Okay
Pros: Large rooms. Comfortable bed. Was able to hire a DVD player and movies free of charge. Nice view
Cons: The staff at both reception and the restaurant were rude and not very welcoming. No wifi (advertised as ‘Free WIFI’) was no breakfast despite it being ‘included’ in price of room. Bathroom was dirty (had body hair throughout shower) sewerage smell coming up out of drains
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Everything, the room was very comfortable, air conditioning, the view was outstanding. The breakfast was included and was delicious. Swimming pool clean and the small portion of private beach was enough, clean, really relaxing.
Cons: It is not comfortable for people with motor disabilities, since there are no elevators, there are only stairs to go to all sides and it is difficult and tired for older people or with moving problems. There are ramps l, but they’re very inclined.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful views. Great location. Unique hillside architecture. Great value. Good exercise.
Cons: That I couldn't stay longer.
8,8 Excellent
Pros: lovely secluded beach
Cons: unfortunately lots of steps
8,0 Excellent
Pros: Nice pool, beach area, lovely views, stairs kind of fun of you don't mind them.
Cons: Isolated, mosquitoes, kind of neurotic about borrowing beach towels.
6,3 Good
Pros: The view from the balcony was amazing. The place is clean. Tv has plenty of channels. The pool was nice .
Cons: There is no real parking, just few spots and they get full quickly so you have to park on the street. Restaurant staff is lazy, service is really bad they don't care about you, food was not tasty and the included breakfast was cold, the dishes were finished already and we had to wait for them to replenish. The safety box was inoperable. The curtains are not black out, so certainly you wake up very early because sun light. Air conditioning was barely working, not cooling enough. And worst of all, incredibly though, there is NO internet in the hotel, only on the restaurant.
8,3 Excellent
Pros: Location and view was excellent. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Room was large and comfortable. We were there in low season so was very quiet.

Pros: The staff was amazing and the view of the ocean incredible. They up graded us as soon as we got there to a two bedroom suite no extra charge and checked on us half way through to make sure we were happy. Nancy at the front desk was so helpful with suggesting places near by to eat and beaches that were calmer to swim at with my daughter. If we come back to the manzanillo we will be staying here!
Cons: I would have liked a kids menu in the restaurant. It was hard to find things for my daughter (8) to eat. The banana crepes were amazing though, and the staff was very helpful and friendly. Carlos went above above and beyond to ensure we were happy!
9,2 Excellent
Pros: We enjoyed the location, the air conditioner was not working to par, and the TV only had 3 channels, but other then that it was great.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: The room, the pools, staff,
Cons: There's no a place with a chair when someone access to the computer in the Reception area. I had to be standing all the time when I was working in the Reception's computer.
4,6 Okay
Pros: The views, location and price.
Cons: Staff and food services were extremely slow. The room wasn’t very clean. The bed was stiff as a board. The ceiling fan was broken and the door handle to the hotel wasn’t working properly. The shower slightly flooded. The balcony was very flimsy and probably not up to “code.” There was limited service at the pool. Not a horrible experience but definitely not coming back. You get what you pay for.
7,1 Good
Pros: not buffet available, but good fruits and great location
5,8 Okay
Pros: The staff were eager to please and constantly put forth maximum effort.
Cons: The air conditioner did not work: the one in the room next door did not work. The staff searched the hotel for an air conditioner that worked, finding one on the opposite side of the property. The wifi was not connected to the internet ... for four days. The property was aged and barely maintained. My reservation and stay were for four nights, but I have been charged for five nights. A promised adjustment has not appeared on my credit card account.

7,9 Good

Cons: noisy in the morning as staff was setting up for breakfast at 6am! a bit dark in the rooms but overall ok
7,9 Good
Pros: Close to centro.
Cons: Room need to be updated.
5,4 Okay
Pros: Proximity to downtown core where a festival was taking place with concerts. Convenience of a great breakfast at their in-house restaurant
Cons: The view of our room was to a 6'x6' courtyard where we could hear and see other guests use their water closets. Air conditioning could not be adjusted so it was too cold to use and the room ended up too warm. Sheets were stained. We ended up having a confrontational registration. Somehow the clerk could not process our two MasterCards and insisted it was the fault of our cards. We took the time to check with our credit card company and all was fine. We think the clerk was not using the proper vendor code. Then the manager had not verified the updated stay period for our confirmed trip and charged us for three nights when we had changed the dates to two nights a few weeks prior to arriving on site. She was unwilling to give us the one day credit and was unbending in her resolve, being very unpleasant with us, even when we showed her Bookings' confirmation. After several minutes with us trying to contact Bookings' customer service, and her reviewing her emails, she relented and gave us the credit. It was a rough start to our trip.

Everything in room was broken! We were suppose to get refills in our fridge of water and soda and that never happen! Our rooms never got cleaned they would only do beds and floor not even sweep it was always dirty! And to top it off All my three children got food poisoning and that was by far the worse experience of our lifes! Will never go back!

Pros: Nothing
Cons: They didnt have my reservation on there system and had to wait 1 hour for it to be uploaded. Then they tell me I have to wait to get my room which was 2 hours more and once we got our room. It wasn't clean, it was given to us super dirty by the past renters. Then today at 8am in the morning they started construction with banging on the walls we couldn't even rest. Worst hotel I have ever stayed at.
10,0 Excellent
Cons: Pool was a little noisy by times...
7,5 Good
Pros: The buffet food was good. The entertainment staff were friendly. The Hotel is right on the beach front, but there is a caveat to that. The location has a great view of the sunset if you are lucky enough to get a beachside room, or just walk out of the back of the hotel onto the beach at the right time.
Cons: If you are wanting to swim in the sea at this hotel, the water is not safe for swimming in this location due to not being clean from the cargo ships using the port and dangerous surf currents. You will need to find an alternative beach to swim. One alternative is a short drive away, further up the coast.

Pros: The paint job on the street side of this barn did a great job of hiding what lay beyond.
Cons: The false advertising---this is a 1 star at best! Told we had reserved a two bedroom apartment but it was a old worn out, dank, STINKY room with two old beds. The air conditioner did not work. The 'shower' barely ran. Rust or 'something' came out of the pipe. We had no 'ocean view' and there was dirt on the floor and cobwebs on the ceiling. We could not communicate even one word with the people. We canceled our room and left (they charged us for the ENTIRE stay of 7 days!) up (N.) the street and found a "Hotelito" that was an awesome little place. Everything worked, clean pool, on the beach, clean rooms, air conditioning, young lady spoke excellent English and they understood our broken Spanish. So DO NOT stay at this Hotel Santa Cecelia-DON'T! They have falsely advertised their place. Eric Simpson
6,3 Good
Pros: Closeness to the beach and getting around.
Cons: The hotel needs updating, it is very old and we had to clean the chairs out front of our room to sit in them, they were sooo dirty. It needs a lot of work.
4,2 Okay
Pros: The view of the full moon at the beach, and the tequila we bought at Oxxo
Cons: Everything. This place is a dump. Fixtures don’t work, others falling out of the wall, wires exposed. One tap worked, the shower head sprayed water out of every place except where it was supposed to. Halls and stairways dark. “Security deposit” in cash after payment?

Pros: Pool
Cons: Really old installations, in the bathroom, fan, tv

Cons: The next door neighbor played LOUD music and was asked to turn it down. They were back at it again after 9pm so I banged on the door to turn it off They did. This is a tired old run down hotel and good for large families to gather around the pool and beach.

Cons: They need more beach furniture

Pros: The paint job on the street side.
Cons: Everything else! Honest, this place is horrible. In total doubt, we nevertheless asked to be shown a room. The air conditioning units DO NOT work (and it's hot/humid here in the dead of winter mind you), the rooms smelled 'rank' (actually no descriptive word comes to mind that reaches out and says the sh__ word) and everything is broken and in need of Superman! We left and walked up to the Holtelito which is totally cool. But we could NOT even stay one night here. I'll fight with Kayak later about returning my money as this place is falsely advertised!!!
