The air conditioning was essential! It was great. There was alot of space for storage of clothes. staff was very helpful and friendly.
The shower did not have cold water - it would have been nice to take a cold shower. also there was a very small little gecko in our room.

This is an ageing, poorly maintained hotel, with an uncomfortable bed, poor facilities and poor sound-proofing. The "business centre" is a hotel room with an old PC in it and unsecurw wifi

“Although the room was dated it was clean and comfortable. The air con worked and we were able to escape the high temperatures in Manaus. The room would be a good base for trips. As we were there on a Sunday we found that Centro was very quiet with everything closed. It was hard to find lunch but the Amazonas Shopping mall is a cheap Uber away. The Palace and threatre are both close (easily walkable) if you want to see those.”

“The staff was good except for one woman on reception. Breakfast is pretty good for a budget hotel. Location is very good. I have stayed here several times since 1989. New owners now and things are not the same, perhaps time will bring improvements.”
