The staff were efficient with the check in although we were a bit early. The room was more like a friend's guest room than a hotel with homey quilts on the beds. The beds were comfortable. Everything was very clean. The air conditioner was excellent at churning out the heat which was much appreciated. There were two packets of toiletries in the bathroom that included all you would need if you had forgotten to pack something. We requested that the night staff book us a taxi and it was waiting for us in the morning right when we needed it. A pleasant stay in a quiet neighbourhood.
The location was fine for our purposes for one night. It is not really in the central part of the city but the walk to the old town is all downhill from the hotel so it is quiet doable and a very pleasant walk in this beautiful city. For a longer stay I would want to be closer to the old city and all the tourist sights. There was no view from our window which looked straight into a window of the house next door.

We had a very nice room with a big private terrace, with a fantastic view over Malaga and the Mediterranean. It is a small family-run hotel, where the local people come to have breakfast, lunch and dinner. That gives the place a very good atmosphere. It is located in sufficient distance from city center so that all prices in shops, restaurants, bars etc. are much lower than in the city-center, but it is still close enough for walking to center, - only 20-25 minutes walk from Plaza Merced. And if you don´t like walking, then the bus stops only 20 meters from the hotel. It was the second time this year, we stayed on this hotel, in February we stayed there for 6 nights, - and We´ll be back!
