Great location. Walking distance to many great neighborhoods and super easy metro access.
The beds were not very comfortable and also were on wheels so sitting up in the beds and leaning against the wall would cause it to slide across the room.
old hotel, good location
location, hotel views
the hotel look a little old, need a refresh
very good location, near metro station and shopping. the bedroom was really a family room. at 9 floor there wasn't any noise of the street and trafic.
the breakfast not included and too expensive
lovely breakfast. great choice. beds comfy which we could elevate to watch tv. great location
The location is fantastic, but since I already know Madrid I knew this going it. It's about a block and a half from the Plaza Espana metro and it's very accessible to pretty much everything. I also liked that they had a free mini bar though there were just a couple of Pepsi's, bottles of waters, a couple of juice boxes, and an alcohol free beer. It was still a nice bonus. Another surprise was how big the bathroom was, nearly as big as the bedroom and there is a remote control for the bed that elivates it. The room was also really clean.
I was disappointed actually, despite of all the things I said prior. It's listed as a 4 star hotel so I had high expectations and it didn't meet them. The room was an interior room so there was no view, fair enough though, I guess they can't all be. There was only shampoo/ body gel in the shower, I'd fully expected if not tiny bottles of each, then dispensers for all three. Also the decor was quite outdated looking, not old fashioned in a tasteful way, but outdated. Like it was still stuck in the 80's. One other point, I was really excited about the spa, but that was the most disappointing part. No seperate changing rooms, 1/2 the jets didn't work and the jacuzzi was tepid, also the sauna was broken.
