Pros: Very good service. Quiet and comfortable rooms. Buildings aging but well maintained. Curious rather odd style. Good food.

Cons: Style!

Pros: From the outside you can't see how beautiful this hotel is from the inside. It's like being in Thailand with a Wonderfull garden and a great pool and magnificent spa. The sound of the birds in the garden made it even more magical. A real treat to stay here.

Cons: When we arrive there was a mistake with the booking. The first night with diner was way cheaper than the second night without. When we asked why we got a grumpy lady at the counter (Pino) and she like shouted that she couldn't do anything and so on. She treated us like naughty school children. But for the rest all the staff is Wonderfull and good and friendly.

Pros: One of the best staff service I have experienced during all of my stays in starred hotels. Everyone is kind, professional, efficient and more ... The fair weather of the Canary Islands is probably growing on them and their smile is contagious ... 5 stars service. A very enjoyable stay. Will come back for sure.

Pros: Extremely clean and nice scent everywhere! Spacious comfy room and, great spa/garden view from balcony! Fresh and delicious breakfast, great omelette chef. Outdoor pool area very quiet and luxurious huge garden.

Cons: The wellness area is quite small and gets crowded in evenings. It should be open longer than until 8pm (after you return from a trip/hike, would be nice to be able to enjoy the wellness before sleep). Sauna and steam room in bathing suits only which is not the right way to go to sauna, people sit on wood in wet bathing suits. The porter lost the key to our rental car once. Otherwise very comfy and luxurious hotel, excellent room service and overall perfection!

Pros: Beautiful hotel. We appreciated the incredible spa and the surroundings of the hotel. Great value for money due to the fact that the spa and breakfast was included in the room price. A true luxury hotel with extremely friendly staff and great and beautiful facilities.

Cons: The location doesn't really allow for walking to the center but then again the hotel is so great one hardly wants to leave it! On the hotel itself nothing negative to say.

Cons: Breakfast had a poor variety, same for supper, comfort of the bed: sheets and blanket were designed for two sharing, and upon my request to get singles, we just got another double blanket and sheets. Blanket was of poor quality, not a duvet with a cover. The pool was not heated. Every little "addition" was charged separately. free WIFI was very poor!

Cons: The air conditioning didn't work and we complained 4 times but no respond. For 6 nights it was suffocated in the room. They charge for drinks even if you have dinner included and we got a 30 euro bill in the checkout. I asked the manager if we could get 15% off the whole stay because of this ac problem. He went back and came happy and told us we would get 50% off the stay. Then we got to the reception girl and she told us we would get 50% off the drinks bill. 15 euros. So dishonest manager. And you could say this hotel was a elderly home. Full of german old people. Old people that stares at you when you eat. This hotel had a program called "share your happines". Two guys helping the old people to rate the hotel. One of them took my phone and was going to rate the hotel in google. So you can not trust the ratings for this hotel. I asked what it was in it for me and he told me i could win a t-shirt or lollipop! I laughed and left. He laughed also. Like he knew how stupid this was.

Pros: Houskeeping staff broke my daughters laptop while cleaning. Hotel refused to make reparation because the laptop was not in the safe. No free parking as advertised. Food at buffets not good and usually cold. Desserts were fantastic. Weather was always cloudy, is like that on that part of the island.

Cons: Staff was horrible. Rooms old and moldy. Weather not what you would expect.

Pros: Perfectly situated for short walk to town Centre. Great Breakfast, friendly staff and modern, clean room. Super salt water pool which was never busy. Excellent price for this quality

Pros: The hotel location is great in a quiet neighborhood, but close to everything. It´s apparently only adult, which we enjoyed and people were in fact quiet enjoying handing out around the pool. We came by bus from Tenerife South and just had to walk a few minutes from the bus station in Puerto de la Cruz. Hotel reception is 24 h and the staff are very helpful such as the cleaning ladies and the bar. We found good food in the breakfast buffet such as cereals, coffee, fruit and bread.

Cons: We found the breakfast ok, with a little less variety of fruit than we expected. Internet worked well, but sometimes it was unstable, however this is just a small improvement opportunity.

Pros: Very Clean, Breakfast very good always a table available.

Cons: We were the only English speaking couple in the hotel at the time we stayed. All other guest were not English. Not a particular problem for us but future guests need to be are of this

Cons: There isn't any parking provided, and it's very hard to find parking around the hotel. The pool water was very cold. There was a cigarette smoke smell in our building. The bathroom was very small and badly designed (opening the door would hit the person standing at the sink). We also got a >100% surcharge on the base price, due to being New Years Eve.

Pros: Perfect location, very helpful staff, great view from the bar and swimming pool on the last floor. We got a sea view room, which was amazing, and very quiet too despite a couple of bars with live music nearby. The bathroom seemed just refurbished. We reserved a place in the parking lot, which is very convenient right behind the hotel.

Cons: Mattresses were a bit noisy, pillows not very comfortable (matter of taste). Room temperature was ok, but the air conditioning system was a bit weak.

Pros: The pool is nice and gets a lot of sun, but doesn’t open until 10:00. The location is convenient, but as a result of being directly on the promenade there is excessive noise until at least eleven each evening. The bottle of sparkling wine on arrival was nice.

Cons: The hotel is way overpriced. The cost far exceeded what the property provides. It is definitely not at the same standard of four star hotels I usually stay at. The beds are on wheels and move about. A king bed is two twin beds pushed together. The pillows are either too hard or too long, not a normal pillow. My room was directly below the dance floor for the New Year’s Eve party and no notice was given to me that it might be loud that evening because the dance floor was there, and none of the staff really cared that I was inconvenienced by the noise when I called down to the reception. The air-conditioning did not work, only the heat, even though the temperature outside was quite warm. The hotel is not one for young or single travelers it seems to cater more toward retired couples.

Pros: breakfast was good but been better in the past.

Cons: the evening meal was not up to the usual standard of food and the staff were unattentive and started setting breakfast before we were halfway through meal... not good... not good staff and too young to bother they were cleaned up before 9.10p.m. and dinner did not finish until 9.30p.m.

Pros: We use this hotel for short breaks in the north of the island when we are staying in our apartment in the south. It is ideally situated and the staff are all lovely.

Pros: Did not eat in hotel, but a there is a great cafe 5 minutes away.

Cons: The beds were a little too firm, and no draining board which means you have to immediately wipe every dish as you wash up.

Pros: Great location, ample parking. Breakfast was delicious. The room was clean and much larger than I expected. I booked a room with a view of the mountains, and was not disappointed by it.

Cons: Certain facilities, like the tennis court and the rackets/balls were poor and outdated. There was no gym which is strange for such a large hotel. The rest was great.

Cons: No parking available despite being advertised as having parking it is not adequate. We could not park in the hotel on any n any of the 6 nights we were there. We had to find street parking with no help from hotel staff and on one night we had to park in a residential street. Not ideal

Pros: The hotel is good value for money. I think in the early eighties this was a Wonderfull hotel. Now its not a 4 star anymore. The rooms are old and so is the bathroom, but the pools (only 1 small one is heated) are nice and so is the heated jacuzzi.

Cons: When we arrived by car we couldn't park anywhere. I had to be very persistent to get a parking spot in the garage after all. On the street there was nothing. The breakfast is simple with lots of fat products and fruit from a can, but we only payed 75 euro so for the price its fine.

Pros: Fairly easy to get to from main highway and in a nice neighborhood about 10 minutes walk downhill to the town center. Lovely grounds, pools and jacuzzi. Good breakfast buffet. Room was a good size with a big balcony. Some rooms have a sea view and others have a mountain view; unfortunately not ours. Easy parking, which is not typical in this town. Bed was on the firm side, which was okay with us.

Cons: A fan in the bathroom would reduce humidity in the room. At check-in, little info was offered even though it was not busy. We had to ask about breakfast hours, pool towels, gym, etc., and there is no info booklet in the room, just a map of the grounds.

Pros: Breakfast was good but nothing special. We liked and appreciate the fresh fruits. I liked the balcony in the rooms. You could sit there relax and enjoy a glass of wine. Free parking was available most of the days. Jacuzzi was good, although it was small and quite a lot of people were in it. Staff were nice and friendly.

Cons: We did not like the coffee. Coffee in the restaurant was boring, low quality and coming from a fast coffee machine. They could brew fresh coffee and serve it in the morning instead. There was no boiler or coffee machine in the rooms. heated pool was very small and cold still. The other small pool was barely usable due to being cold and shallow. All pools depth were 1.2 meters only. For using the gym in the hotel you should pay an additional 5 euros per day! The hotels pools are much smaller than in the pictures. I think they had used advertising schemes to make them look larger than reality. The hotel in general is also not modern, while the pictures on the site suggests otherwise. It was in general far from our expectations. There are many old people in this hotel for some reason. Dinner was not good and very low quality at the hotel. There is a nice Thai food next to the hotel, I suggest you go there instead if you want to have dinner.

Cons: We stayed at the hotel H10 Atlantis sunset playa Paraiso and the service was much better and the room was amazing. Welcomed with a drink, offered to be escorted to the room...., top class from the car parking to the room staff. Thank you At H10 Puerto de la cruise, The room was small , the bathroom tiny and showing it’s age. We paid the same price for a room that didn’t meet a 4 star hotel standards. We were welcomed in a very professional way at the reception but some of the staff were less friendly and polite, a please and a thank you from some of the restaurant staff would be nice. I was surprised to pay for the safe, this is very old fashion. Workmen were also working on the roof, banging away with hammers, not great when you are trying to read on the balcony. This is a shame for we started with a really good impression staying at an H 10 hotel but this was sadly tarnished.

Pros: We liked the upgraded room with the sea view, it has a very spacious balcony with a choice of preferred seating (loungers or wicker cushioned chairs) we Really liked the well equipt gym, although small it had all the equipment except rowing machine but but was modern with complimentary water machine and towels plus a weights room. We also very much enjoyed the view at breakfast, overlooking the ocean and the buffet breakfast was faultless, even the choice of a bloody Mary should you wish for one. The fruit was plentiful and very fresh and everything you could possibly want was on offer and cooked very nicely. Very tasty and plenty of choice. We liked the on site shops and hairdressers. Staff in hotel pleasant and helpful. Being very central, everything is on your doorstep, pros and cons to this but very convinient if you like the beach and grabbing a bargain and checking out the local cocktails and dishes. Would definitely recommend Loco Parque, just jump on the complimentary open train from the the shopping square right near the casino and it drops you off at the park. As an animal lover I was apprehensive but this is, in my opinion a very worth while visit and well deserving of the trip advisors award for being the no1 zoo in the world. It was outstandingly clean and every single animal catered for to such a high standard and to their specific characteristics of their needs. Keeping them as close to their natural environment as possible and the guided tour addition is well worth the money, you get to see just what depths they go to in caring for every single animal they look after. This parrot loving owner really does care about his animals ♥ and for night life we loved Molly malones Irish bar just a 5 min walk away, if that. Although the hotel entertainment is good too.

Cons: The pool area is quite overlooked by neighbouring hotels from every side and direction, although to be expected as you are on the main beach promonade, we also experienced quite a bit of noise in the evening when sleeping but again to be expected from the position of the the hotel where there is likely to be music from neighbouring hotels and passerby residents and traffic. Tea and coffee making only available on upgremade but then for what we paid this is perfectly understandable.

Pros: food was good plenty of choice for both breakfast and dinner.

Cons: the weekend we were there the carnival/fiesta which we hadn't realised, the noise on the saturday night was really loud and went on until around 4am.

Pros: Good sized room. Staff pleasant and helpful. Good selection of food at breakfast. Excellent location on the promenade. Great value for money.

Cons: 20 euros per day for dogs is excessive. The Vallemar next door only charges 12 euros per day which is more reasonable. Bathroom is quite dark. Parking can be difficult. Some areas of the hotel are a little tired.

Pros: The hotel was situated about a mile from the beach and town centre. There is a very steep hill to climb to get there tho. The staff are all helpful and friendly. The room was clean and spacious, and public areas are kept clean at all times. Even tho I didn't have breakfast, it was available at 5 euros extra. Lucky the dog is adorable. My patio was bug free and clean. The pool area was clean. My only issue was that there were no cushions in the room, so sitting on the chair wasn't very comfortable.

Pros: I liked the hotel very much! The rooms and the hotel are very clean, the rooms and beds are good. There is a swimming pool and you can use it for free. The Wi-Fi has a good speed at the hotel. The interior is great! A calm and quiet place to stay, I recommend it!

Pros: The view from 11-th floor was stunning with ocean waves banging relentlessly against the rocks just below the hotel. Generous breakfast. All day round access to internal swimming pool with staff member watching over it all the time. Everything was perfectly clean. Not far from small botanical garden with some very large trees.

Cons: Access to beach rocks from hotel was closed due road repair. The noise from repair was somewhat annoying. A bit shabby exterior condition at least for 5 stars hotel.

Cons: We found mice droppings in the room, & packet of crackers nibbled, also extractor fan in bathroom didn't work, informed reception, but nothing was done. We didn't have Dressing gowns or slippers in my room or my son's room, waited 2 days to receive them. Self service breakfast was often cold & inedible. Son's Burger was raw (ordered by room service)

Pros: A fantastic property that is definitely worth a visit. Incredible view from 12th floor on the sea.

Pros: Stayed on 12th floor overlooking the seaside. The view is just magnificent and the property is exceptional. The staff is great and breakfast fantastic. The bed was very wide (super!) and comfortable.

Cons: Spa is a great pool with a modest sauna and hammam. There was a small insect/cockroach in the room.

Cons: No sun on pool. Shower kept changing hot to cold. Very dangerous. Food on boxing day very bad. It was like left overs. Nothing like xmas eve and xmas day. Slow when waiting for omelette. Each egg was whisked separately instead of a prepared large jug of beatin eggs. Lovely omelette but a long wait. Also the addings to the omelette should be chosen by the guest in small bowls then guven to the lady preparing. This would cut down the time as this took ages. No teaspoons on table. Never a teapot. Juice not great. No crackers. No grapes on boxing day. Only melon. No prepared fruit. Boxing day a let down. Seemed to be less staff. Heaters outside at dinner unlit and needed refill.

Pros: Location was close to lots of restaurants and shops.

Cons: Hotel was comfortable enough. We had stayed here before, but it was not as great as I remember. Rooms could do with some refreshing. A lot of the amenities you have to pay for including gym, heated pool (which kids are not allowed - so that was disappointing), you even have to pay to use the safe! Nice location, just a little disappointing overall.

Pros: The location was perfect, as was the hotel. Within walking distance of all the main attractions. The breakfast was delicious with so many options. would stay again.

Cons: Receptionist is a bit unfriendly in my view, also when I asked about parking nearby they said they had their own very expensive parking ~1 eur per hour with no ability to pay for the whole day less. I asked is there something less expensive, they mentioned only some mall with similar price, although just 12 minutes walking there is a HUGE public parking absolutely free. It's like 4 football fields with plenty of place and costs you nothing.

Cons: Description wasn't as stated, the view from the room was awful - 2 buildings filled the view, one a derelict block of flats that was clearly being used as a squat, the other a very noisy building site, terrible. Very dark corridors in the evening, had a generally creepy feeling to the place, not comfortable.

Pros: Very nice, clean and spacious apartments in the good location - Mercadona is just over the road, few other shops and also pharmacy just in 5-7 minutes of walk, city center, different parks and beaches in just walking distance. Nice kitchen with (almost) all the necessary things. Quite good breakfast at reasonable price. Parking possibility under the building (not under the sun!). Very friendly, helping and always smiling staff!! It was very nice and pleasant stay here.

Cons: There could be also a microwave oven in the kitchen :) The road between Apartamentos and Centro Commercial is quite busy and noisy (more, than I thought (it is my 3d stay in Puerto de la Cruz)).

Pros: The apartment has modern & spacious rooms and the breakfast was a really good option to have.

Cons: There was no sponge & dishwasher liquid, the wifi was rather poor in the rooms and unfortunately new hotels under construction are blocking the view to the sea.

Pros: The balcony had sunshine in the morning until early afternoon. Good views of sea and Tiede. The apartment was cleaned every day. Nice pool and sunbathing area

Pros: Very great stay ! The staff is really nice, the bed very comfy and the location perfect. The breakfast buffet is good and the flexibility of the organisation helped us a lot! Thank you ! We wouldn’t hesitate if we come back in Tenerife !

Pros: Great little hotel in excellent location. We had a lovely room on the top floor with views towards the mountains. Spotlessly clean. Staff were very friendly and efficient. Breakfast was adequate for the price of our room. It was very good value.

Pros: Super friendly staff, very helpful indeed. Late arrival (after official finish time of dinner), cold plate of salads, fruit, bread and water was set out. Although official breakfast times started at 8:00, breakfast was available from 7:00 onwards which was brilliant for an early start for hiking. Great location, only 5min walk from central bus station

Cons: Ended up with the worst room in the hotel, 1st floor, unsectioned balcony where everybody passing to and from other rooms could look into, room went straight onto corridor, extremely loud, next to the staircase, noise from evening entertainment until 23:00

Pros: Views. Location close to loro parque and playa jardin beach. Walk-in distance to all happening restaurants and bus stop. Hotel has bus service to Siam park.

Cons: Have to buy water in restaurant even though paid for half board. Can't take your own bottle there. Problems with location not hotel per se: Far away from Tenerife south airport and Siam park. People should check if they r flying to North or South airport.

Pros: The food was fairly decent but mostly only luke warm and repetitive.

Cons: The hotel was sad and outdated; in need of serious modernisation. The room only had one plug socket - not ideal in this technological age!

Pros: The view to the ocean was awesome room 406. The location is very good:) Best breakfast options we have ever seen (and we travel a lot)

Cons: Our room was OLD, the furniture and everything was like 25 years old. We are a modern couple and we didn't like it. The hot water temperature was changing in every minute, causing some burning/freezing. We couldn't take a good shower there. The laundry service left our clothes dirtker then they were before with and unpleasant smell!

Pros: The hotel is a 10-minute walk from the center. There are fewer tourists, but there is everything for every taste: if you do not want to eat at the hotel, there are three supermarkets and a restaurant on the other side of the same building. Jardin Beach - 3 minutes walk, to the bus station - 5 minutes. Loro Park is a 20-minute walk along the coast. Breakfast is a buffet, the choice is large and even if you come ten minutes before the end of breakfast, the assortment is all available. And what a wonderful view from the balcony! In the hotel you feel welcome. Thank you for your hospitality and care!

Cons: Maybe you should add a small fridge to the room?

Pros: The hotel exceeded our expectations! Very beautiful green territory, great location - many convenience stores around, it was easy to find parking spot. The breakfasts and dinners were totally great, many tasty dishes which never repeated during our 4-days stay. The staff was helpful, and we got a room upgrade which is always nice. We planned to move to another hotel after 2 days, but the comfort and tasty meals kept us there for longer :)

Cons: The hotel needs some renovation. Bathroom and toilet equipment were sooooo old. Also from time to time we had issues with wifi, but I have to admit the signal was mostly very good. I am not sure if the pool is suitable for kids, it was very cold.

Cons: I did not sleep all my time their I was next to the lift next door fan going all night I could hear them going to the toilet not good staff stole from my make up bag I would never recommend this place to stay

Pros: The natural decoration of the resort is beautiful. The food is good. The employees are quite nice.

Cons: A bit far from the beach and located uphill: it is not confortable to walk and mostly to come back from the closest beach. At this time of the year, the temperature at night is nor agreable in the rooms and they lack heating system (or the heating system is not on).

Pros: Very service-minded and clean. Rooms: comfortable, good bed(s). Bathroom: all equipment is working very well, good watter pressure and temperature. Great food quality and variety. Stable and fast WiFi. Location: away from noisy tourist streets, but close enough to a beautiful park and grocery store. Path to the sea shore is relatively short walk, but might be steep for older or unhealthy ones.
