While not paper thin walls, maybe cardboard. They will not service your room each day (due to Covid??? yea right). The breakfast was microwaved, guess that is normal but the sausage tasted like wood pulp. Very dated but the location was where I needed to be.

Pros (+) Caroline Kennedy was very kind at reception. Pool was refreshing with 104 degree heat. Good place to stay while climbing, otherwise I am unlikely to stay in Lone Pine.
Cons (-) Close to the Whitney visitor's center (even though it was closed for COVID) but out of town. Breakfast was prepacked because of COVID.

Pros (+) Good bed and pillows. Good breakfast.
Cons (-) Room was quite small. I would have liked a table. Also the plumbing was very loud from other rooms.
