We spent 6 nights at the Mondrian with our older kids. The hotel has a great location near the best sights. Great waterfront views. We had drinks at the bars that have great cocktails and views. The rooms very modern with good quality sheets. My kids loves that their was a movie theatre in the hotel. Highly recommend!!
Superb South Bank
Outstanding hotel in London. Service, room, amenities, restaurants and bars were all excellent. Beautiful view of the Thames. I will definitely stay here on my next trip to London. I can't say enough about our experience at the Mondrian.
The only disappointment was one of the concierges seemed inexperienced. She booked us at a very mediocre tea service at a restaurant in London.
I loved the layout of the hotel, the amenities are excellent. A beautiful hotel in my favorite part of London.
Meets or Exceeds Expectations
Very modern, great location and friendly staff. Room size was pretty good as well.
The room was lovely - everything you needed and amazing toiletries. The location of the hotel was ideal, a short walk from Southwark or you could walk straight out onto the Southbank. The staff were all delightful and extremely helpful. I'd definitely stay here again.
Great location. The staff was extremely helpful. Had an amazing time.
Great location, beautiful hotel with a friendly staff
When you are visiting London, there seems like not enough time to take in all that the city offers. This is why accommodations are important. You need to stay in a place where you can see everything the city has to offer. Whether it is looking at Big Ben or visiting Buckingham Palace – or if you’re a football fan traveling to North London for the North London Derby between Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur – the Mondrian London offers a great location and amenities.
Travelers who stay at the Mondrian London are thrilled with the amenities and location. The rooms are quite comfortable, and many travelers enjoy the view out the window. You can look out the windows and see the River Thames. Inside, the rooms are decorated to reflect the London ethos of being elegant but not too showy. The view is what many people love, when you look across the Thames you’ll see where London was, where it is, and what its future holds.
Dining at the hotel is a treat. The 12th Knot is a rooftop bar offering panoramic views of London. You can enjoy Lyaness as well, which is a bar that offers some of the best cocktails in London. Finally, the Sea Containers restaurant is known for its seasonal menu showcasing local ingredients. If you’re looking for food outside the hotel, there are plenty of options from fish and chips all the way to fine dining.
The Mondrian London is the perfect place for your London vacation to be based from. You can see much of the city just by looking out the windows.

The layout and design of the hotel are inspired by a historic luxury cruise liner. This includes design features like a few copper cladded walls (mimicking the hull of the ship), a Queen Mary ship model (in the lobby), submarine artwork, and wall to wall windows that provide unobstructed views of the River Thames.
