Location - Good. Clean hotel with decent rooms. Staff are very friendly.
Breakfast was bad, standard ham, cheese and canned fruit
The hotel is in a quiet location just off a bustling high street with restaurants and cafes (and a Boots which opens until midnight!).There was an underground station just around the corner which made it very easy and quite quick to get to all of the usual London landmarks. Although the room and ensuite toilet/shower room were very small they were spotless and , like the rest of the hotel, finished to a very good standard. It is not a luxury hotel but everything felt "new" after the recent refurbishment which was nice. The staff were very good too. I had mistakenly booked for the wrong night but the friendly receptionist quickly sorted a room out for me.
The bedroom and shower room were very small but acceptable, although a larger person might have found the shower room uncomfortably small.
The rooms were particularly nice and clean. I found the bed comfortable and there is an excellent shower. The location is also a massive plus for this hotel.
I had a fabulous stay at the Phoenix hotel! It's very clean, quaint and cosy. The reception staff were so friendly and welcoming. This hotel is in a brilliant location too.
The room is bigger in size than the 4 stars hotel I was staying in in the preceding days. The staff is very friendly. The location is very convenient, just few minutes walk from Bayswater and Queensway metro stations and also close to Kensington gardens, Portobello market. It has nice restaurants around the area.
The breakfast could be better.
