It's the perfect place if you need to stay near to st georges hospital for a few days. It is clean and well maintained but the rooms are a little small. Good A/C and the wifi was excellent. Breakfast was simple but enough.
Small bedrooms and bath room otherwise all was ok.
what breakfast there is no restaurant and no bar
the price its not value for money
The location, staff, cleanliness and decor of the room was exceptional. The size of the room was smaller than I was used to but I booked the smallest room because of the price-which was amazing! Overall I had a lovely time at the Pelican Hotel and I would highly recommend it to anyone staying in London. Since it was so close to the hospital it was also very quiet and clean which was lovely.
I wish there had been a little bit more storage space in the rooms but given the constraints of size and needed amenities I completely understand why the room was arranged and decorated the way it was.
Comfortable bed, proximity to St George's Hospital. Friendly staff.
The location of the shelving. One at luggage rack had a dangerous edge at head level. One in the ensuite was over the toilet bowl! The Cleaning station outside Room 73, on one occasion, I slipped on plastic left on the ground and told the receptionist. The next day a vacuum was left with the lead strewn across the floor. Absolute safety hazard.
Value: The price was incredible as we booked with short notice and for a modern place! Location: It was a good location for us attending an event at Clapham Common and going to a friends house close by. Facilities: Nice comfortable bed, modern room, bathroom and tv. It was great to have aircon which worked really well!
Cleanliness, unfortunately the room was dirty with stains on the walls and what looked to be a blood stain on the curtain. There was also a pistachio shell underneath our pillow which was very odd. I want to make a note that these were to us, minor. Especially from what we paid and how modern the hotel was.
