It has some charm
The hotel is located in a very nice neighborhood. It has close proximity to many tube stations, which makes getting around easy. Hyde park is really close by and is super beautiful. Back to the hotel, the staff is amazingly friendly. Several Spanish speakers (mostly from Spain) work here, so that is convenient if you need translation. The towels are good, the water pressure I exceptional. If you get the breakfast included take advantage of it, the breakfast is very hardy.
The hotel is pretty old and outdated. All the floors squeak and you can hear everyone around you. The beds leave a lot to be desired.
Best for winter break
Cooked breakfast really nice Staff efficient, polite and helpful
No air conditioning Hand soap tablet too small Not enough shower gel Some rooms not suitable as doubles
The manager, once on duty, promptly arrange to have our room moved to a cleaner larger room that did not have mold. It has a good location close to a tube station.
The room we initially received had no internet connection and was covered in black mold. We arrived late in the evening and there was no manager on duty to assist us until the next morning the hallways and the carpets are filthy but once we were relocated the second room was not bad.
Bathroom, though very small, was modern and clean.
Room was extremely small.
Great location near the Tube and Hyde Park, I would stay here again if given the chance. Staff was great.
Rooms were teeny tiny but bathroom was nice and big. Nice big shower as well.
Great location, disgusting hotel
right next to Hyde Park, Kensington, close to the Palace, and several tube/bus stations.
The room was tiny, no big deal that's a European hotel, but it was filthy. The shower was dirty, there was mold in the bathroom, one of the lights was dangling out of the fixture, and the carpets all had weird stains. I was on the top floor close to the elevator and could hear a clunking noise from the elevator every time it was used. With so many hotels in the area at comparable rates, there has to be one better than this.
Quite convenient, nearby tube station and buses to major attractions are quite frequent as well. Breakfast included which was nice.
Small room, very european style.
They were very helpful in letting me check in early. Also, when I asked where I could buy a wall plug for my phone they gave me one to use overnight.
Good choice
Moments from Kensington Gardens, quiet, clean, friendly multi language staff, reasonably good English breakfast, good value for three nights. Recommended.
As always the case, a small room, poor wifi, mediocre quality TV and bathroom equipment, no fridge or minibar, no air con.

The elegant lift! The staff and the location and price were amazing. I would definitely recommend this place to my mates and visit again
My room smelt of smoke when I walked in which was disappointing
Just the location and at the reception Mr Angel
Really old Hotel. The Bath door couldn't get locked etc. Also hairdryer was inside broken which can really cause life danger...
I liked the room - the beds were good, the bathroom was big an clean and the breakfast was very good
I have no complaints
The staff was friendly and helpful, the room clean and spacious and the location convenient- all at a good price.
No.
When we arrived there was no record of the booking. The hotel put us in the honeymoon suite at the same price
Nothing
My husband and I did not enjoy our stay at the hotel. It was classed as a 4 star but actually was more 1 to 2 star. The bed was little more than a twin and definitely not a double. The wallpaper was ripped and stains on the carpet. There were no glasses in the bathroom to clean your teeth and the shower door leaked. The breakfast was awful too.
Friendly staff, handy location
Room was very small
friendly staff location is good; near tube, highlights nearby, neighbourhood itself also very nice clean free internet service good breakfast
shower really not warm enough room quite small
Visit sites and ate out
The size and location of the room.

good value in low price, I will book again in that hotel when I 'll visit London again
