Not sure how this place manages to get such a good rating at booking.com. The rooms are small, the price high, the quality of service low. So, yes it's London and you pay too much for too little but this place should be rated at 6-7 and never ever at a 8+
The room was small but big enough for one person to be comfortable with a big suitcase. Breakfast was abundant and everything was very clean.
location service & communication comfort all great
thin walls, therefore a little too noisy
The hotel was very nice and very clean. Easy to find, just across the King's Cross train station. The stuff was very nice and kind. Everything was as written and said here. Breakfast was very nice, a buffet which you can combine and make for yourself a nice and rich breakfast (as usual in hotels some salami, cheese, ham, bread, boiled eggs, different kinds of cereals, jams, nutella, milk, coffee, juice). The room was small, but we expected that and we were all day outside exploring the city so it didn't bother us. London is a very nice city which has a lot to offer and where you have a lot to explore so ylou spend the minimum time in your room. And also there is a place for your luggage underneath your bed so that it doesn't take too much from room. There is a safe as well in the room that you can use. So overall experience is very nice, comfy and clean.
It was mentioned here and by a hotel stuff to us as well, but maybe something to point out again for the people who are not packing light. The hotel doesn't have an elevator, so you will have to carry all of your luggage up the very narrow stairs. But I must admit, those narrow and wooden stairs gives a nice charm to the hotel.
The room and hotel met our needs and was great value for money.
