Great location for - Central London
Location, and the business library is a great place to do work or have a quiet meeting. Wifi in the library is excellent, but not so good in the rooms. The employee's are very helpful and nice to deal with.
The cost per night is high but it is actually cheaper than others close by given its location. Had to move rooms as wifi in some rooms is very sketchy.
London for a weekend
Great location and helpful staff. The staff helped answer all our questions including how to get to heathrow when we were leaving and all the roads were closed do to a marathon downtown.
I really can't think of anything we didn't like with this trip. The staff was very helpful from the time we arrived until we left. The location was close to everything we needed.
Good hotel, well run, conveniently located.
Decent sized rooms for London. Clean and well run. Very close to Embankment tube station.
Slightly touristy part of town.
Beautiful hotel centrally located in the heart of London's biggest attractions. Loved the ability to walk everywhere without ever needing a taxi. Wonderful stay and would recommend to close friends and family.
Convenient & central location , very comfortable
Customer service needs to improve
Location is fabulous for tourists and the room seemed pretty clean. I did my own wipe-down with wipes and there wasn't much left behind.
Maid didn't replace my washcloth even though I purposely left it on the floor to indicate that I wanted a new one. Room was small and the view from the window was nothing but a wall.
Staff was friendly, professional, and responsive. Clean, quiet, and modern rooms with big screen TV. Beds are comfortable and relatively new. We were able to check in early for a reasonable fee.
Bathroom had no ventilation and you have to prop open the door to clear the moisture after a shower.
You Are Finished Looking For A Hotel--Stay Here
This hotel is "THE" place to stay. Location-Staff-Amenities-Location!!! Excellent location to walk around London en"Joy"ing the sites. Looking at the map you will immediately realize this is a premium place to anchor your rest area. A mere 100 yards from the Charing Cross tube station, this hotel offers a more quiet locale compared to the Piccadilly area (only 1 stop away on the tube). Before I was able to ask for an early check-in the front desk professional politely stated, "If you and your family would like, you may check-in now (at noon--3 hours early!!!). After flying on a 7 hour red-eye inbound these words golden to our bodies. This unexpected blessing let us rejuvenate with a 30 minute nap before we laced up our walking shoes. Without a doubt, this proved to be 'the most invaluable" act of kindness from the staff. According to our Fitbit we then walked over 20,000 steps and 10+ miles taking nearly 500 pictures and fondly did so with smiles--no way we could have done this without that early check-in and needed pre-rest I visited for a quick 24 hours trip (with 2 teenage kids) to gain intel for when rest of family comes so we'll be squared away. Fantastic experience! Please do yourself a favor and simply stay at the CQ Trafalgar Square. Now go to the next item on your travel checklist--the place to stay is solved. Lastly, remember that when writing and reading reviews, we cannot and should not evaluate others in their actions by using "our intentions" as the litmus test to criticize their performance. Translation: If I can only make porridge or PB&J's, I have no authority to critique one who "is" a chef but has different taste buds than my own. Enjoy your trip to this great city wherever you decide to stay and remember the reality of your trip--you are there for the city not the hotel. If anything is less than you believed prior to arrival, simply have a nicer dinner when you're out and bring the staff back a little sweet treat. Your act of kindness will be passed onto a future guest at the hotel. Be Well and Safe Travels :)) PS. Review written by a man with 34 years of worldwide travelling experience...and 11 more to go until retirement. Enjoy the people first, and human made structures second. Blessings.
This box should be empty. CQ Trafalgar Square performed outstandingly and the owners of this hotel should be commended for their ability to not only acquire a premier property for travelers visiting the great city of London and but more so for accomplishing the most difficult task in any business--employing caring humans to transfer customer service models and ideals into memorable experiences for the traveler. Well done CQ Trafalgar Square...well done.
London is a once in a lifetime destination and when you decide to head to one of the world’s great cities, it is important to have great accommodations right in the heart of this amazing place. Club Quarters Hotel Trafalgar Square puts you right in the middle of one of London’s most storied places and allows you to experience the city from an ideal perspective. The hotel is the renovated Northumberland House, a historic British landmark. With 234 rooms there’s something for every type of guest. Those who appreciate having history within walking distance will enjoy strolls to Buckingham Palace, the National Gallery, Parliament, Big Ben, and much more. London is a great walking city and being in the middle of such great locations makes this hotel excellent to stay at. There is plenty of great eating at Club Quarters Hotel Trafalgar Square. Boyds Grill & Wine Bar serves great British fare while 50 Kalo di Ciro Salvo specializes in serving Neapolitan-style pizza. In fact, the pizza’s authenticity is beyond doubt because the hotel employs a third-generation pizza maker from Naples to supervise the making of pizza. The pizzeria also ensures authenticity because the tomatoes and mozzarella are imported straight from Italy. A trip to London is a once in a lifetime experience. Make sure you get the most out of your time in this amazing city by staying in a hotel that’s in the middle of everything. Club Quarters Hotel Trafalgar Square ensures that you have an authentic English experience in the middle of a most historic locale.
