If you want a functional Hotel at a very good price then The Brompton is a good choice. About 30 seconds from South Kensington tube, it'll be a great base to use for seeing London. As I say, don't expect The Dorchester. The Brompton is set over a few floors reached by winding stairs, so accessability should be considered before booking. My room was a single bed, TV, tiny desk and ensuite. If I'd had a cat with me, there would be room to swing it, but only just. However, it's the location and price that counts, so if you want cheap and cheerful, then head on over.
It's looking a bit tired, but as I keep saying, the price and location are what sells it. I'd stay again, put it that way.
Very close to South ken tube
Nothing good no frills hotel
Loo wouldn’t flush , no cold water on hand basin Carpet thread bear
The room carpet was filthy, the bathroom dirty, the bath panel was disgusting and has mould on it
This is the worst hotel I have ever stayed in my life. By far the worst staff I have met during my decades long travelling. For any traveller wishing to have a pleasant stay, please avoid it by any means. Extremely un-cooperative & unfriendly staff. They charged me 3 nights for stay for only one night of stay as I actually left after being asked to change room early in the morning. The asked me to leave the premises at 11am when I had paid for the full day/night of stay on the next day as they gave my room to someone else and requested me to change room without pre-advice.
Staff lack of competency and professionalism.
