It depends on what your goal is. The location is almost perfect. Quick drive to Santa's Village, and right near the Flume Gorge (amazing!) -- the indoor pool - open year round - awesome! But, the breakfast was mediocre and the rooms / buildings are outdated, and security is a bit lax. Again, easy drive to many restaurants and attractions. Overall, it is OK.

Pros (+) We reserved a room blindly at the last minute, and we were somewhat confused by the description of "two double beds, two twin beds," but we persevered because it was late and we were eager to get settled for the night. We arrived and were directed to our cabin (!), which was straight out of a horror movie. It was a bit dated and there was nothing fancy about it, but it was clean and there were ind...
Cons (-) The cabin was pretty dated and run down, with an almost antique bathroom and weird living room furniture. The Ritz it is not, but it was definitely an experience.

Pros (+) the hotel is in a good location for exploring the mountains. Price wasn't bad. Staff was friendly. Continental breakfast had a good variety
Cons (-) Room was basic. Needs updating. Bed was comfortable enough for a night stay. Most of hotel is closed now. Use to be the Beacon whiich had more amenities. Most of hotel is closed now.
