Pros: we felt very much welcommed.
Pros: Great location for onward travel to Poland lovely town
Pros: It's a beautiful hotel ranged around several old buildings, all the rooms nicely designed with exposed beams. The room I ended up in (102) was blissfully quiet, with none of the usual ambient noise. Even the church bells didn't ring at night.
Cons: The first room I was given had loud ambient noise (electrics, ventilation etc.) coming through the walls and ceiling, but fortunately I was able to change to a quieter room. Noisy work starts on the nearby market square on the dot of 8 a.m.
Pros: Location, size of the room, comfortable bed, kids friendly policy
Pros: Great location, staff were excellent and friendly. Very clean and tidy hotel.
Cons: It’s only a small matter but for me a kettle and complementary tea & coffee would have made it 10/10.
Pros: Good breakfast
Pros: Very spacious room, central location, upon arrival was taken to my room, lovely setting for breakfast.
Cons: Was a bit cold in room.
Pros: Lovely hotel in an old part of the town
Pros: Charming atmosphere and comfortable although in old building
Cons: bathroom not very modern yet clean and in working condition
Pros: Very nice hotel in the city centre. The double room is big enough and it offers a romantic perspective.
Cons: The variation of the breakfast could be improved. The natural yoghurt is missing and the muesli and bread offers are limited. The winter garden should be renovated, it looks more like a normal canteen.
The Best Western Plus Hotel Ostertor is located in the city centre nearby historical town and fairgrounds. All rooms and suites are newly furnished with all the comforts of a Best Western hotel and our conference rooms accommodate up to 200 persons. The Hofbräu am Ostertor restaurant completes the offer!
Pros: clean, staff,
Cons: payment for parking, without refrigerator
Pros: Very clear and comfortable,
Pros: Clean, silent and very comfy rooms. Hotel is just in the center of small town. Used it just for overnight stay when travelling around, but will definitelly use it again.
Cons: Nothing to complain
Pros: We have stayed in the new part, which was modern and well furnished. Breakfast was very good and all staff lovely and professional.
Pros: Nice equipped rooms - good mattresses on the bed.
Cons: Narrow, not enough spaces underground car park.
Pros: Nice decorated and spacious rooms.
Cons: Nothing really in particular.
Pros: the hotel meets the avarage german standard, but for money I've pais I souls expect better facilities, ex. a fringe and a reliance aircondioning system
Cons: for Germany the breakfast wasn't so good, and I was actually surprised that I had to pay or it, I was also charged for the parking, which was supposed to free. the total bill was ca.25% higher, than I was expected to pay at first
Pros: Bed excellent. Receptionist super. Right in town.
With a stay at Altstadt-Palais Lippischer Hof in Bad Salzuflen, you'll be within a 10-minute walk of Gradierwerken and Kurpark. Featured amenities include a 24-hour business center, dry cleaning/laundry services, and a 24-hour front desk. Self parking (subject to charges) is available onsite.
This charming hotel is set in Bad Salzuflen. With a small number of only 9, this property is very convenient for a quiet stay. This is not a pet-friendly accommodation.
Pros: We had a very comfortable stay at Villa Holstein. The room and bathroom facilities were excellent, standard of cleanliness excellent and the breakfast room bright and food choice plentiful. Although we asked for a quiet room, our room gave onto quite a busy street at the front of the property, but, as it happened, we didn't seem to be too disturbed by passing traffic. We slept very well.
Cons: Everything was absolutely fine. Just a mention, however, that parking is on the street outside the Villa, and it would be first come, first served for a parking place. We had no problem with this, as we always got parked. However, in high season, this could mean a longer walk than wished for to the Hotel. On our departure, we were told that there was a separate (attached?) parking area which we could have used, so parking shouldn't pose a problem. Secondly, there are steep steps up to the Hotel and steps up to the rooms on the 2nd floor. For anyone with mobility issues, this might prove challenging. They did not pose a problem for us.
Pros: The hostess was extremely helpful, and gave us excellent recommendations with regard to the locality.
Cons: We understand that it is typical on the European continent, but a double bed, rather than two singles pushed together would have been preferable.
Pros: The room was very clean. And all other rooms: restaurant, hallway etc, too. The villa itself was beautiful from the outside. The lodge was good located.
Cons: Please see my answers up.
This friendly family-run hotel offers you warm hospitality and a wholesome, refreshing atmosphere under the Frisian thatched roof (in German: Ried) which gives the hotel its name. The hotel is a pleasant place to stay in this spa town. It boasts a comfortable lounge with an open fireplace, as well as a sunny terrace where you can while the hours away in some comfort. There is a seminar room which is ideal for holding business conferences.
Pros: Our trip was a return in the past, as my friend was going there 60 years ago with her parents, when the hotel was just built ... and (surprisingly for me) it turned out to be a very good surprise ! Very nice place, very clean, super comfortable room, bed and pillows, perfect bathroom with rain shower, very varied breakfast, correct choice for diner ... And a very nice village (2 km away, need a car though). A very nice experience.
Cons: The staff was very friendly but unfortunatelly not speaking at all English (or French) - fortunatelly we new some basic words of German.
Pros: Only plus was close to the A2.
Cons: I arrived late due to traffic delays, front door was locked (approx. 10.30 pm) had to telephone for someone to come which they did after about 15 mins.to check me in.Not really a hotel more like bed and breakfast establishment.
Pros: Stayed here twice on the way to and from Poland within a week. Hotel is located about 30 secs from the A2 so great for location. Hotel is very clean, room very well equipped and beds comfortable. Arrived after 6pm so had to meet the staff to check in but this wasn't a problem for them. Hotel quiet, car park quite limited so get there early if you want a space. Visited Bad Salzuflen up the road for food and a bit of shopping, town had lots of non-Germans so didn't feel particularly safe/secure. On our return visit, we stayed in the same room. Think the previous guest was a smoker as the room smelt slightly stale than previously. Recommended as a stopover if travelling through Germany.
Cons: Don't allow smokers to smoke IN the rooms, there is a balcony outside.
Pros: Bed and Towels were clean. Small Breakfast Buffet.
Cons: Just recommended to sleep over, nothing more. No Lobby. No place to visit around. Second Floor is actually half attic and you could hit your head on edge easily if you do not take care. Few dead and alive spiders were also around and there were not enough plugs in the room. You could also easily hear traffic noises on the street due to thin window glass.
Pros: Over all it was good
Cons: wifi can be better
Pros: Good position for our business, easy to find and to park. Comfortable rooms with space. Courtesy water bottle always useful and appreciated. Nice receptionist at the check in.
Cons: The structure is a bit old and some smelling (food). The restaurant wes closed due to works (not informed about it at the booking). Price is high considering the age, services, quality overall. None was capaple of any english speaking.
Pros: Clean , quiet with a very good breakfast!
Cons: Partly under renovation? Poor facilities, non sound proof entry doors. Lack of afternoon bar and snacks. My single room with window directly to the wall but quiet. Other rooms - better views. Not easy to find this hotel even with GPS. Poorly marked from the land/ national roads.
A stay at Hotel Rosengarten places you in the heart of Bad Salzuflen, steps from Gradierwerken and 3 minutes by foot from Kurpark. Featured amenities include a business center, complimentary newspapers in the lobby, and multilingual staff. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Excellent choice at breakfast. Though the tables are not cleared and relaid very promptly. The restaurant was very busy on the weekend. Good, comfortable room, quiet hotel. Very good location for the centre of town and the park.
Cons: The only negative point was the clearing of tables at breakfast. Maybe hotel guests should be given priority at breakfast as at the weekend most tables were full when we came down. People from outside come in for breakfast.
Pros: Breakfast was great especially the fresh 'brotchen'. The staff were very helpful.
Cons: The information booklet will be more helpful if it has some info in English. Villa Germania is a difficult walk to 'Rosengarten' for anyone with walking problems.
Cons: they send me to another building that i still coudnot know why???
Pros: Parking, location, helpful staff, size of room and breakfast.
Cons: very squeaky floor boards and shower a little small.
Pros: The breakfast was very good.
Cons: Our room was located about a block away from the restaurant and parking. A noisy common area was located in close proximity to our room.
Pros: Cleaned every day.
Cons: Single bed in the room was incredible small and behind a wall so felt claustrophobic.
Pros: Location not far from the autobahn, nice & big apartment with all amenities, low cost breakfast, family friendly, good value for price, near some restaurants... Handy for short or longer breaks. Clean and modern.
Cons: Pillows were uncomfortable.
Pros: Great Breakfast. Great Location. Room and Bathroom well designed and amenidies-provided
Cons: Parking was a bit of a challenge. Explanation of benefit booklet was not complete. Had to ask
Pros: Excellent breakfast which is very popular with the locals. Old world charm, really enjoyed our stay.
Cons: We arrived very late and the hotel was closed so had to wait to be let in by a member of staff.
Pros: Spacious and comfortable 1 bedroom suite with extra bed in living room. Perfect for 1 couple and 1 adult. Friendly and helpful staff. Great location, close to attractions and town.
Cons: For bed in living room no nightstand already next to the bed (we moved furniture around) and no nightstand lamp. Were in another building, had to go to main building for breakfast in the cold and rain. A water cooker in the room would have been great, to possibly have a light breakfast in the room.

Pros: Great location just 5 minutes walk from centre of town with quality shops and choice of several restaurants. Good shower, easy to find and get to by car.
Cons: The floor of our room was dirty and in our friends' even worse, sticky to walkon. We arrived at 5pm and the door was locked with a note and number to call. A cleaner let us in and organised our rooms for us. Even when checking out next day they didn't seem to be aware of our booking.

Pros: The first night was good and I was allowed to check in early which was nice.
Cons: The second night was horrible- I had to change rooms (to 26 be warned) and I thought there was a funny smell so I opened the windows and left for the day. That night (after reception had closed) I got back to find the smell was the bedding and it was so putrid and disgusting I couldn’t sleep properly and all my clothing and skin was stained with the stench. When I asked for a refund of the €50 I had to debate for 20minutes just to have €20 thrown in my face. Totally unacceptable- I had to throw my clothes out and the stench lingered for many days.
Pros: The staff went out of their way to please.
Cons: The room we were in was very stark, i.e. There were no bedside cabinets or lamps, no bit bins, the water pressure was very low. It lacked a feeling of comfort.

Pros: The room was good, the bed was perfect, the bathroom was great.

Pros: the location is good
Cons: breakfast have no warm food
Pros: The personnel was really friendy. They helped me for everything I need. I needed a some thing during my trip and they never said "No". The location of the hotel was cool, it was very calm, there was no noise. And it was close to the city center as well. The breakfast was also good enough, I really liked my stay in this hotel.
Pros: The only good thing 300m away from hotel is really nice pool and sauna (VitaSol) if i remember corectly thet place is amazing
Cons: Price should be lower on place like thet . Rooms where cold there was no light in bathroom really noice even at night time nobodey seemed to do nothing about thet so had sleeples night . Staff doesnt speak english so sit was hard do explain anything or ask .. It says hotel has private parking place is maybe maximum for 2 cars .. Its defo not worh the pricw in pics was a lot nicer then what we seen when we arrived
Cons: I had to pay the room when I got there. The owner ask to pay cash. Didn't have cash so I payed with the card the hotel. The tourist taxes and an extra tax for a baby I payed cash. I did't received any invoice or receipt for what I paid cash. The rooms are really small, the sink was in the room and not in the bathroom. In the room was cold. The hotel was very drowsy. In was really not much worser than a three hotel star. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.
Pros: Wifi was good. Friendly staff and there was a TV. Luckily a sink and a tap in the room. Coffee was ok.
Cons: Very small room Shower was shared with other rooms, one floor below. Definitely doesn’t look like the pictures in the add. Small bed. Not really clean Not worth a 3 star appearance/rate Breakfast table was below 3star standards “Royal” is a bit far fetched
Pros: Friendly staff
Cons: The sheets of the bed (to small for the bed size), the heath in the room (under the roof), the noise outside (next to a clinic with the customers).
