The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Check in was straight forward, as was departure.
The noise. I was given a room right next to reception, which I should have objected to. The noise from the corridor, complete with very squeaky door, and reception was so clear it was unbelievable. What's more, there was virtually no sound insulation at all. I could hear the people upstairs going to the toilet - in all detail! I have never been in a room with such poor sound insulation - it was like the walls were made of paper. As a result, I had a very short night's sleep - not what I wanted or needed.

Good space to exercise my dog. plenty of private parking.
Very noisey young quests in a room closeby, and outside. Smell of cigarette smoke in room.

24hr check in, great location for motorway for stop over on the way to the Alps. Tea and coffee making facilities in the room.

Friendly staff but the hotel seemed a bit tired/dated. Evening meal in the restaurant was average.
Hotel needs upgrading. We have stayed in much nicer Kyriad Hotels in other locations.
