10,0 Excellent
Pros: We particularly enjoyed the excellent dinners, quiet but spacious rooms, the pool and the gardens
Cons: It is the end of the season so some minor things needed attention including the door to the balcony.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: We could walk from the room to the interior patio with trees, the pool and the restaurant. You can not imagine from the outside how nice it is.
Cons: The lighting in the room was a little poor.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: A lovely place to stay, with its own very good restaurant. All staff were welcoming and very helpful - in both the hotel and restaurant.
Cons: All good.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Great place. Absolutely clean and fun to explore the area. Numerous facilities, including a good restaurant on the premises, that has discounts for hotel guests. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Directly next to the "city" center of Lanjarón.
Cons: The fan in the room was quite loud and it was impossible to set it to a very slow speed. Outside the room, if you opened the windows, you could sometimes here some kind of aggregate running. We are not light sleepers, so we managed okay, but for someone with finer ears it might be unnerving.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Great place. Very relxing and peaceful
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Great place to stay for exploring lanjaron.
Cons: Everything was excellent.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: The hotel complex is well laid out, with ground floor rooms leading onto Spanish-style patios, with numerous fruit trees and water features. The restaurant was excellent, the menu del dia varied each day. Waiting staff were smiley and helpful. Reception staff were helpful and friendly too. We were able to leave our bags in reception for a few hours.
Cons: WiFi was patchy, quite simply because the walls of the building were so thick.
Nuevo Palas - Lanjarón - Building

10,0 Excellent
Pros: Nice room with modern bathroom, good restaurant and well located.
Cons: Noisy people outside the front of the hotel the night we stayed, not too bad but disturbed sleep.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Comfortable welcoming hotel with a good restaurant, lounge and welcoming staff. I chose it as a place to break my journey between the mountains and the airport, arriving at lunchtime when I ate well here. My bedroom was first class with a welcome tiny balcony, all set back a little from the street which minimised noise.
8,8 Excellent
Pros: Great sized room, really comfy and good breakfast
Cons: The sound insulation was terrible, it sounded like someone was having a shower and blow drying their hair in our bathroom!
7,9 Good
Cons: We thought that we would be offered a cooked breakfast or buffet style breakfast. This was not the case.
Balneario de Lanjaron - Lanjarón - Building

9,6 Excellent
Pros: The staff were all friendly some spoke English the meals were great Spanish style with lots of choices, healthy options and. The rooms were great with new bathroom and lots of hot water for the shower. You need to take your own shampoo and conditioner My mum an I had a wonderful stay very relaxing and comfortable
Cons: The thermal baths were clean but the decor was dated and in need of an refurb.
7,0 Good
Pros: The location was very interesting and the breakfast was good. The old hotel part was very nice and I liked how the community used the facilities.
Cons: I booked the spa experience and it was awful. I was booked in with two men which was very uncomfortable. I arrived at my booking time and some guest starting going off at me in Spanish. I don't know why. The attendants repeatedly asked to see my ticket so I ended up just leaving. I wish I'd just used the public spa area. On leaving I couldn't get out of the carpark as the receptionist told me the gate was open and it wasn't. I then couldn't get back into the hotel as I had checked out. This was the only place in Spain where I had language problems.
8,8 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was fine in content and it was provided hot (as applicable). The dining room is "basic" ; (a bit of a "canteen" atmosphere) with tables in close proximity. Unfortunately for us, the room was very busy as the Hotel had a significant "pension" - "O.A.P." habitation, and absolutely without any criticism of the other residents, the Hotel staff were quite busy. Perhaps we encountered "one of those week's" ? However, the Hotel staff carried out their work efficiently and in good humour.
Cons: A long walk between the Reception and our room. The Hotel layout is a bit "dis-jointed", and initially a map would be useful. The "Spa" is not a normal relaxation, as everybody has a sequence to [strictly] follow to use each facility, which is somewhat haphazardly organised. Something in the waters leaves a bright yellow stain (to bathing clothing, hair colour and even the bathroom towels) which is not nice.
8,8 Excellent
Pros: the balneario was pretty good and included in the price. The breakfast was above average for a Spanish hotel but the croisants were stale on the second day and what was supposed to be scrambled egg (and was on the first day) had been replaced by some strange concoction which we did not even try! Coffee was excellent. Staff were very pleasant and as helpful as they could be. Parking was well priced at €6 a night. Airconditioning in the room was perfect!
Cons: The safe was not working and took until the second day to get fixed. The balcony door lock was broken and again took until the next day to get fixed. The WIFI did NOT work in the room, only in the public areas. The swimming pool was nice but far to difficult to reach for those of limited mobility. There was also too much walking generally, room to dining area, room to parking, room to balneario. I am able to walk fine for a few hundred yards but on occasions that was not enough! The evening meal menu was so unappealing we went out to a restaurant each evening. On the whole I do NOT think this hotel justifies a 4 star rating (no room service for one thing). The TV controller had had the menu controls disabled so it was impossible to adjust the language for English language films. Again mentioned to reception but absolutely no action. I think maybe (looking at the evening menu) this hotel is stuck somewhere between the social security standard and that expected of a fully private hotel. There was a concert in the park opposite the hotel each evening, fortunately we had a room on the back of the hotel (with absolutely no view except a brick wall) so did not suffer much fro the noise but potential guests really shoudl be warned by YOU when this kind of problem exists. Although the balneario was OK the first Mineralised warm bath had missing tiles and was actually somewhat dangerous for those of a certain age! Finally, at first when we (as normal) removed the acces card from the slot to disconnect the lights when leaving the room of course the air con also turned off, OK BUT it would not turn on again when we returned to the room without a phone call to reception whose action was far from instant.
6,7 Good
Pros: The crew at the restaurant
Cons: The room was very basic, much below a 4 stars hotel!
7,5 Good
Pros: Nice room
Cons: It took almost and hour to check in. Long queue and a lot of paperwork. Thermal spa was included but difficult to get in. Only open a few hours a day and very small.

Cons: Very poor water pressure in the shower
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Great view from our bedroom
Cons: Location and the dining facilities
10,0 Excellent
Pros: I wish I could score the hotel 11 not 10! All the women who run the hotel were very friendly, helpful and kind. The aircon in my room was very good (I'm so glad, it was a hot day outside). The hotel is really well located on the nicest street in town. Lots of super eating places nearby. Nice breakfast of freshly toasted bread. Great garage to keep my motorbike in too. Unbelievably low price.
Cons: Nothing

Cons: The room was noisy. You could hear the slightest sound coming from other bedrooms or from the street, even if it was a pretty quiet neighborhood.
6,0 Good
Pros: Its very clean and the decoration is antique andalucian furnished
Cons: the reception is not open 24 hours.
8,8 Excellent
Pros: Location is great. Just off the main street in the middle of the town. Location is quiet. Views from our room were good. Nice staff and reception area.
Cons: The bathroom is a little tired and there's no sound proofing between rooms.
7,5 Good
Pros: Loved the views.
Cons: You could hear absolutely everything from next door and above. So the first night I was awake all night with the snoring from another room. Also you would not want to watch tv if you were considering neighbours, or talk on the balcony.
8,0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent quality/price ratio of this small Hotel with great location
Cons: The room was too cold (the Windows were very old and the wind easily entered)

Pros: great reception from Carmen, excellent customer service. the hotel is in the middle of town, we had a room with a double and a single overlooking the pool and with a sideways view of the mountains which was excellent, everyone from the waiters in the dining room to the cleaners were very friendly. we will go again
Cons: Not really a dislike but we prefer self serve for breakfast.
8,0 Excellent

6,7 Good
Pros: The restaurant was not very good.
Cons: See above
6,7 Good
Pros: Excellent location
Cons: Somewhat dated
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel was in good location. The balcony view was breathtaking. We arrived very late and the guy at the desk was very accommodating. Big room and bathroom. Quite comfy and with a/c. I loved it. The swimming pool was lovely. The area is the source of a water spring so water was running free everywhere from source (cold water). We loved the place, the main square with the witches effigies and the dreamcatchers hanging above the square. It was such a magical area.
Cons: Nothing at all
7,9 Good
Pros: Location was excellent as it is on the main street where all the shops, bars and restaurants are. The pool was a welcome addition, and they offered a good breakfast. Good value for money.
Cons: The room was a little shabby - peeling paintwork, and rather small. Rooms at the lower price do not come with a balcony or a view.
6,7 Good
Pros: View location
Cons: Bad check in receptionist made me look for my passport when she actually had it as I had given it to her then no WiFi no information about the hotel. I had to struggle to get connected to WiFi pay for sun bed???? After paying a lot for 2 separate rooms already no reduction for families children charged the same as adults????
