Designed as an homage to the historical Victorian-style beach estates of the area, Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort and Spa is a magnificent retreat for guests looking to experience the magic of Disney. As Disney’s flagship and most opulent resort, the hotel features a five story lobby, stained glass domes, and Italian marble floors with inlays of various Disney characters. During daytime hours, a grand pianist performs in the main lobby while an orchestra plays popular Disney tunes on the second floor balcony every evening.
Renovated in 2007, the hotel hosts 867 rooms that average 440 square feet, sleeping up to five adults, and include basic amenities like free Wi-Fi, a mini fridge, soaker tub, ironing board, and in-room safe. All standard rooms feature a view of either the Seven Seas Lagoon, Courtyard, Marina, or Magic Kingdom. Suites are located on the Club Level and offer room for larger groups as well as access to the Club Level lounge where guests can enjoy daily refreshments and complimentary health club access.
The resort has a jogging trail, two large pools, and a white sand beach along the man-made lagoon as well as a marina where guests can rent watercrafts and embark on fishing excursions. The Grand Floridian also features a full-service spa with a 24-hour fitness center and a hair salon.
For ultimate convenience, the hotel has a complimentary resort monorail that takes guests straight into the park. When guests return at the end of the day they can visit with their favorite characters at the old time carnival and carousel themed 1900 Park Fare restaurant or for more refined guests, upscale dining can be had at Citricos, Narcoossee's and Victoria and Alberts.
Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort Spa is the ultimate Disney location for families and executives, serving as a one-stop shop for all entertainment, dining, and theme-park adventures.
Policies vary by room type and provider.
