Pros (+) The location and staff were amazing. Right across from the JR line tracks. Staff was very helpful, offering suggestions of where to eat and sights to see. Rooms were very large and comfy! We’d come back for sure!

Cons (-) Ceanliness was poor. Toilet was leaking on the floor and it was obvious the floor wasn't cleaned daily. We were out all day and upon returning, we saw the bathroom wasn't cleaned. Also, we got a cab to take us to a nearby laundromat and then Kyoto station. We showed them the map the hotel passes out to guests. The taxi driver said he knew how to get there. Pros (+) Hotel location is close to Kyoto train station and the new Aeon Shopping Mall.
Cons (-) The mattress is as firm as it gets. I had difficulty sleeping on my side or back. The hotel configuration is not suitable if your room is situated far from the elevator. It seems the elevator is at one end of hotel and our room at the opposite end. Hotel is U-shaped and we walked liked 200 meters to the elevators.
