Pros: Excellent facilities & amazingly clean in ideal convenient location. Staff members were unbelievably helpful & friendly. Exceptional value for money including breakfast! What more could you want! 10 out of 10. So thankful to have a wonderful welcome& kind assistance from staff members who made me feel like a family member there! Wow!

Pros: + Helpful staff + Many showers/toilets. All clean. + Good location - many shops around, bus stop to Bako in the near. + We arrived at 1 AM and they were waiting for us! - Thank guys! + They have fridge with cold beer!

Pros: We enjoyed our stay. We liked the restaurants around the hostel, in particular the dumplings of Live Café. Also, we cook a little bit in the kitchen of the hostel were we stayed confortable. And also, the owner rents the moto for us. The location is good, a 10 minutes nice walk to the waterfront!

Pros: If you are looking at lots of different places and trying to figure out where to go, I think you have found it. I stayed in a private room rather than the dorm so I can only speak for that but it was very comfortable and the owner of this place is really friendly and a wealth of information. He works hard and enthusiastically to make sure that different guests on any budget are able to enjoy the surrounding sights. Also, the place is decorated well and the social area is far enough from the rooms that people chatting aren't disturbing anyone who is sleeping.

Pros: Very,Very clean! Love that, Sam and Georgette very helpful, kind and always available to make sure things are done right! Great coffee, and plenty for breakfast, coffyans bananas available all day, big big beds in dorms, like your own island

Cons: We did not like the quantity of mosquitos in the hostel. They kill us! And also, the smell of the room was not very good. The owner was very nice, but we were not happy when one day he promise charge less money for the rent of the moto, and the next day he did not maintain his promise. He did not keep his word. Looks like money is more important than the real promise.

Cons: The actual bed is not the same as in the pics. My dorm is actually two bunk beds behind curtains in a dark living room without windows.

Pros: Lovely hostel with a chill vibe. Not too many people so a good place to relax. Staff were really helpful with information on things to do, and they stored my luggage for 2 nights.

Pros: Unlike other hostels providing instant coffee, this hostel provide fresh brewed coffee as complement, which I love the most. They have a nice rooftop bar and a cafe on the ground floor. Big lockers in the dorm. The location is nearly perfect.

Cons: The most disturbing thing resulting in a bad review was that they set up a lot of signs stating that trips to bako Nationalpark cannot be done without a guide anymore since the 01.11.2019, which is simply not true. Getting to bako and staying overnight is perfectly fine and very simple to do

Pros: Lovely hostel with a chill vibe. Not too many people so a good place to relax. Staff were really helpful with information on things to do, and they stored my luggage for 2 nights.
Cons: No filtered water available, and even though I have a water bottle with a filter, sometimes only hot water would come out the taps, so I couldn't really use it either. Would have been nice if they still did breakfast.

Cons: Yes, the rooftop bar is OK, but they had only Pringles for the food. I think they can improve a bit more for this point. They force us to take off our shoes inside, but my friend lost his shoes there.

Pros: Location was central, staff were responsive and friendly. Place was clean and nice to hang around in, especially the rooftop bar.
Cons: It was located in the middle of town, which meant that the rooms were very noisy throughout the night with cars zooming past (the whole night till morning). Definitely not recommended for light sleepers like me. I didn't manage to sleep at all through the night. It's not something the lodge can control, so I'm not blaming them.
