I like that there was an attached bathroom within the room itself
The place is dirty and upkeep is minimal. Only 1/4 of the showerhead had water coming out of it and when we arrived, there was an empty roll of toilet paper and no spare ones in sight. The sink area had mold growing at the corners. And the TV in the room wasn't even working. While the advertising said Free WiFi, we had to call to ask for the password. Overall, the host was unprepared and the place could be a lot cleaner.
Due to some issues in my other hostel I had to move. Eventhough I was before check in time I got a warm welcome! I could use the washing machine for free, there is a huge kitchen and I had an amazing time riding the bycicle. The owner is really nice and helpful. Thanks again for helping me out!
A homestay in Malaysia is different from what I used to. Instead of staying with a family you just stay in a house. It’s a little far from everything, but the free bycicle s make up for it!
The accommodation is very cheap, but then the quality is replicated in the price. I liked the fact that even though the accommodation is very basic, AC and fan worked perfectly so we would not overheat.
Shower head was absolutely destroyed: water would be sprayed everywhere out of multiple cracks, so the stream loses so much pressure and the bathroom floor just stays wet all the time. The location's not ideal: you'd need your own car or taxi all the time. Nothing's really in walkable distance from it.
