7,5 Good
Pros: The owners have done a brilliant job in creating an oasis in a city that is dirty, noisy and not super appealing. The eating area, pool and private beach areas are all fantastic - great aesthetic, very clean and all round enjoyable. The staff were great. The food was also good - we stayed here for one night after visiting the islands and didn’t need to leave as the hotel has everything.
Cons: Unfortunately, the bedding was quite old and outdated and the mosquito net had holes in it and was dirty. We didn’t sleep very well due to what we think was bed bugs. A shame because everything else (including the size of the room and WiFi) were great. Bedding just in need of a upgrade.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The owners are just the best -- helpful, friendly, knowledgeable and great to talk to. The rooms were excellent, the bar/restaurant had a wonderful atmosphere, they have an amazing beach view, and the food is delicious and reasonably priced. It was 100% the highlight of our stay in Sihanoukville. Couldn't recommend enough!
3,3 Mediocre
Pros: Staff
Cons: Room noisy and cannot rest well
7,9 Good
Pros: The hotel is located outside the city centre (which is a Nightmare at the moment with buildings in construction everywhere and no proper roads) so it was calm which we appreciated. The owners are very friendly and the staff is nice and helpful. The pool is nice also.
Cons: Sihanoukville and the beaches are dirty and should be avoided at all cost to be honest. If you cannot avoid it then this property is one of the best options available. The hotel and its beach are clean but it does not change the fact that the water and the environment around are full of garbage.
8,0 Excellent
Pros: An oasis of tranquility and cleanliness next to a not very attractive environment. On the beach you can see where Sunset Beach ends and starts. The influence of the German owner can be seen here. Very good hotel to stay at between the airport and the ferry, Not for long holidays. A large clean pool is a bonus. Strong Wifi, good cuisine.
Cons: Neighboring parcels are either dumping ground or a building site.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Such a pretty place in the middle of chaos. Sihanoukville has been taken over by the Chinese...it is very sad to see. The sunset lounge was a beautiful spot amidst all the dirt and garbage. The pool was huge and a great spot to relax and enjoy the sun. The food at the restaurant was delicious. We would definitely stay here again however would not return to Sihanoukville because of the garbage and sad displacement of the Cambodia people.
Cons: We liked everything about the property as it was very beautiful especially the pool. It was the city of Sihanoukville itself that was a sad sight to see.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Relaxed, nice bungalows with outside area to chill, lovely staff, food decent, private beach that is kept clean by hotel, nice pool- an oasis in Sihanoukville.
Cons: Nothing about the hotel is wrong but Sihanoukville is a massive disappointment, complete Chinese hellhole unfortunately which leaves you confined to the hotel mostly. If you are visiting Sihanoukville book your stay here.
8,0 Excellent
Pros: After having toured the town, this hotel would be my top recommendation. It is close enough to do day trips, yet far enough removed from the construction/destruction of the town. The owners and staff are wonderful and go out of there way to make sure your stay is as comfortable as possible. The food is great and the drinks are cold and all at very reasonable prices.
Cons: The rooms are basic yet comfortable and practicable, my only suggestion would be to have a shower screen installed around the shower head.

Pros: Staff were friendly and very professional. Prompt taxi service. Check out was 11.00am but extended to 2.00pm for free. Desk staff were excellent
Cons: Air con was a bit under power, but was adequate.
7,0 Good
Pros: The hotel was pretty much what I expected for the money. Rooms: - spacious - large TV - comfy Breakfast: - lots choices - good quality Staff: - friendly and helpful (when I needed to get to the ferry for Koh Rong they organized a complimentary ride in one of their cars, the driver even made a detour so I could get some cash from an ATM before going to the island). Location: - considering that Sihanoukville generally is awful these days the location was at least bearable.
Cons: First of all, I have to say that Sihanoukville nowadays is a huge construction site with lots of noise and dust everywhere. If the hotel is the best thing in a city that's not a good thing. So I would recommend not going to Sihanoukville at all, it might look better in 5 or 10 years (if you like large casinos mostly built to attract Chinese customers). If you want to go to Koh Rong (which I would definitely recommend) you should go straight from the bus station to the ferry. As mentioned: the hotel is fine for what you pay. But why would you stay in a city that has nothing to offer at this time.

Pros: Staff very friendly, clean room , would be recommend.
Cons: Nothing
9,2 Excellent
Pros: I loved the pool by the ocean and breakfast on the beach the room was clean bed comfortable and hotel staff were fantastic looking forward to going back .
Cons: The roads were terrible but not really hotels fault breakfast was ok more variety be a little bit better but it was still good

8,8 Excellent
Pros: Pool area was very nice as were the staff. Beach very close and although not the nicest beach, there were nice facilities there with waiter service.
Cons: The hotel didn't have a lot of unique charm. People in the restaurant were playing games and watching videos on their phones loudly which was distracting.
5,7 Okay
Pros: Beach is excellent.
Cons: Pool was too crowded, breakfast was too crowded, thought we had a room in main building, instead we stayed in a rather poor room at something called Sokha Express. Same campus but low quality room. Seems like false advertising.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The private beach with the bar was great! Breakfast buffet had tasty selections. You can't beat the open air feel of this hotel. The staff was pleasant and accommodating.
Cons: Needed to call maintenance to tighten the detachable shower head mount.
4,0 Okay
Pros: Beach is the best of this Resort.
Cons: Service is bad and prices like in Kempinski .
1,0 Poor
Pros: The staff were very helpful and pleasant
Cons: Sinahoukville is the worst place I have ever been to. It is a building site with huge Chinese casinos going up everywhere. I think you should not offer hotels there. The place is horrendous. The Sokha hotel is being starved of investment in preparation for it to be knocked down to build another Chinese skyscraper. The sunset bar now offers a sun disappearing behind a huge half built Chinese casino and another huge Chinese casino next door is building a jetty into the sea that will restrict further any view. Take this hotel and resort off your website Ho

Pros: Brazilian bbq was Nice
Cons: No water pressure in shower Not clean No minibar Bad service Forgot to put in extra bed
7,5 Good
Pros: The food was amazing, we tried all the restaurants. The entertainment of a night was a nice bonus. The pool staff were fantastic and drinks well priced for a resort
Cons: The rooms are a little dated but the extra facilities available made up for that.
5,4 Okay
Pros: Food not reach the standard . Rice not cook well ( sokha fried rice ) Tonyam also not the actual taste . Club sandwiches , cold beacons hard bread , oily French fried . Disappointed on the F&B management . Sad thing ... and the price doesn’t reach the expectations .
Cons: Only the beach side
5,4 Okay
Pros: Spacious room and nice pool
Cons: Staff at reception was not helpful enough There was a language barrier but instead of trying to resolve problems they ignored them sometimes.. At one point phone lines did not work, I went to the reception to order room service and they actually tried to send me to the kitchen to order my own food..when I looked at them shocked they realised that maybe it's not right :) especially in a 5 * hotel? Also the town itself is terrible but that's not hotel's fault Nor recommended for holidays only for business visits

9,0 Excellent
Pros: The noodle soup is a bit sweet.
Cons: Nothing
4,0 Okay
Pros: The location, the swimming bools and the beach.
Cons: We were 12 adults + 2 children and we booked 6 rooms for one night. We paid US$ 120 per room. From my experience I South East Asia, when you pay this amount of money, then you expect at least excellent service. But in this hotel the manager has chosen his staff whom 95 % of them were men, and most of them were unprofessional and lazy. The building is also old and the rooms smell.
4,6 Okay
Pros: Staff is very friendly
Cons: The room smells bad, even the sheet wasn’t smelling good. Food at the restaurant is good, but service is slow
6,7 Good
Pros: I liked that it was secluded from all the craziness that is happening in that city . I loved the ocean pool and sunset restaurant . Breakfast was pretty good . The wifi was also good considering the size of this place and the pod was quite cute . The spa and gym facilities were good however there are a lot of non hotel guest users so there were some strangers and some of them were spiting all over the place . The bar was ok there weren’t many people there . Loved the singers that try to entertain. We went to Koh Rong for a couple of days and on our way back to the airport decided to stop by for 4 hours to use the spa and gym and they were very welcoming and helped us with booking our transportation
Cons: They are still constructing the place so early morning we got woken up by the staff doing construction . The bell boy dropped my luggage from the bogie when we checked out and the luggage took the hit . The drinks at the bar weren’t the best and a bit overpriced . We had the see food platter for dinner it was ok I was expecting more for the price but the service at the restaurant was great !
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Hotel was clean and the staff really friendly.
Cons: The hotel beach was very clean, the public beach needs a good clean up!
8,8 Excellent
Pros: Everything except Food.
Cons: Food offering shall be improved.
5,0 Okay
Cons: I didn’t feel the proper service during I stay. When I checked in, the staff was really slow, and when I asked him how long it would still take, he just said my question would disturb him and made him slower. Also the room is not well which seems to be 30 years old and not clean. The pool is good but the hotel allows outsider coming in to take pictures which makes the pool crowded. This place is not good as on the internet and also expensive comparing to the resort on Koh Rong Samloem.
7,5 Good
Cons: Food in the restaurant was below average and price was unreasonable
8,8 Excellent
Pros: A beautiful oasis and escape from the craziness that Sihanoukville is these days.
Cons: It would be helpful if the property provided maps. With such a large area, it was confusing to get around the first few days. A lone map in the reception area isn’t really enough.
7,0 Good
Pros: The location was out of town which was good as the whole town has become building site. The hotel is well maintained and the staff are really friendly. The pool areas and beach areas are great and very clean. A lovely infinity pool right by the see
Cons: Breakfast was basic. Disappointing that all extras (meals, drinks etc) attracts tax (10%) and service (5%) on top of the published prices and I wonder if the service charge did go to the staff?! Everywhere else we stayed in Cambodia I presume the published prices included tax as we didn't have to pay extra and service was discretionary

5,1 Okay
Pros: Ok the regular line staff are great. Helpful, nice. Very good people. The manager doesn’t say hi to you. He was very unfriendly to other Asian travelers but he was super welcoming to westerners. Really disappointing to experiencing this. If you are Asian stay away.
Cons: The location is way to far from the good areas of the island. It’s at least a 15 minute walk to other restaurants and other beautiful parts of the beach. The front area isn’t as nice compared to other parts of the island. For $80 a night in December I expected more. The bathroom was clean but there’s no hot shower! I like to shower before and after I start the day but it’s super cold.

8,0 Excellent
Pros: I value the hotelschool for being a good hotel with value for money but on top of that and maybe even more important to me is that the staff are mostly selected (relatively poor) Cambodian youngsters that are given an education at the hotelschool to have a future in the fast growing tourism industry at Sihanoukville. While you stay at the hotel you support them in their future. p.s. I love the pool.
Cons: Late response on a request to arrange transport from airport to hotel.
4,6 Okay
Cons: * They want a 2.5 % surcharge for credit card payments * Way too expensive for what it is * Room/Bathroom looked worn * Personnel not helpful with bus booking and inflexible regarding credit card fee * Power outlets are misplaced
8,3 Excellent
Pros: Kind helpful staff. Very clean.
Cons: It was great just a strange location. Not close to local food although there is a restauraunt part of the hotel.
8,0 Excellent
Pros: Please see my review earlier
5,4 Okay
Pros: Food.
Cons: Cold showers, failed to make up room one day, kept forgetting we were guest's and challenged us in the restaurant, free shuttle forgot to pick us up, beds hard, meals delicious, English language skills poor, a long way from the beach. Could not help with tour or bus information. Town is under massive construction and we would advise you to stay away for the next 3 or so years.
1,0 Poor
Cons: Whole hotel and city is infested with case bearing moths (bag worms) all over!!! I left the hotel early bc of that. Received full refund for days not used. Thank you, booking.com!
7,5 Good
Pros: 2nd time staying here for a 3D2N Room was clean and comfortable -food is cheap and satisfactory -value for money -aircon is working fine in the hot day -great location for near city -quiet and peaceful definitely
Cons: Facilities not that great -no towel automatically (req a towel which had a large hole) -no WiFi at rooms -Hot to cold water for shower needs to improve -shower pressure was really weak
4,6 Okay
Pros: The garden and the pool, staff were nice
Cons: Slow service, the lack of guidance for the supposedly hotel school trainees was obvious, it seemed no one was instructing the students, therefore service/ cleaning / re stocking rooms/lack of menu ingredients were a big problem. 10% service charge was imposed for a mediocre to poor service

Pros: Good hostel in Sihanoukville close to the port
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Food was amazing, bed is comfy and staff are friendly
Cons: Nothing at all
9,2 Excellent
Pros: The location is good, close to the pier to take a boat to the islands. Helpfull stuff, good options for food and drinks with reasonable prices. So you don't really need to go outside, luckily
Cons: A bit pricy, but the only descent option to stay in Sihanoukville. Good for one night, but you don't really need more in this city.
7,9 Good
Pros: Close to ferry terminal. Cool and calm. Helpful staff.
Cons: The environment of the hostel is a building site. In fact the whole town appears to be a building site. Not a place to relax in at all.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Really good place, clean, comfortable, nice food, everything is awesome.
Cons: Don’t stay more than a night, and if you can skip Sihanoukville it’s better
7,9 Good
Pros: Not far from the ferry. Staff very helpful and friendly. Rooms and facilities generally clean and tidy.
Cons: Bit rough round the edges (ie stains on walls, dirt in corners, etc), but nothing to cause major issues. Very little in the area to see. All just building work.
7,1 Good
Cons: Chinese are building like crazy. It is crazy and there are no sidewalk or road. No more than one night in Sihankouville '
8,3 Excellent
Pros: The ambience in the hotel.
Cons: The hostel itself is very good, but the surroundings are horrible because there are a lots of works, the streets are not paved and are full of sewage. Sihanoukville is becoming a horrible city, Chinese have bought the land and are building lots of hotels and casinos full of horrible lights that are destroying the environment and the authenticity of the village.
