Ko Lanta hotels near Klong Dao Beach

Pros: We stayed in a room with a private pool, which was accompanied with a big price tag. The decor was great and the bed was comfortable. The pool was sizeable and had a stunning view over the sea.

Pros: It was our 3rd stay at the reaort, and as usual the staff and facilities were top notch. Will always recommend this resort to whoever plans a trip to Koh Lanta.

Pros: Very nice staff, a beautiful and well-maintained place, the food was very tasty and the cocktails too. A great place to stay for a few nights. There's a free shuttle to town a couple of times a day but you can also rent a scooter for a day for a very good price (200 baht). We enjoyed our stay very much!

Pros: We had a good time in the hotel actually we didn't left the property for our whole stay. The staff was very helpful. My wife got very sick and they help us talking us first to a drug store and later that night to call a doctor and take us to de international hospital. The were all the time worried about her health. Leaving this behind the hotel was nice, and just 4 min away from the Pier. The pools are beautiful and you have access to a little private Rocky beach.

Pros: A very tidy and sweet hotel, with a very good maintained territory. It has everything you need on a Vacation - a really perfekt beach, swimming pool, good connection to shops, massages and restourants. The stuff is super sweet and extremly helpfull. I did not have a situation, when I was not understood enough. So for a relaxed vacation - it is exactly what you need. Also they have a room service every day - with fresh towels and drinking water (what actually is very important in Thailand)

Pros: Beautiful lush green surroundings. Comfortable rooms with cold air conditioning. Comfy beds. The beach front lounges were fantastic. The location was great with many nice restaurants a short stroll away.

Pros: The resort is an oasis of greenery beside the ocean. Loved our bungalow beside the pool as it was quiet and cool! The grounds are lush and beautifully maintained without the feeling of being in a manicured resort. The staff were all friendly, welcoming and helpful. Loved being able to meander from room to pool to beach for the sunrise and sunsets! Easy to walk to any restaurant or store or to town. It was great to stay in a nice quiet location that seemed removed from City but infact was close to so much.

Pros: Lovely place to stay on beautiful stretch of beach with bars and restaurants along. The pool area with sunbeds and the bar on the beach are great with love band playing a couple of nights during our 4 night stay. Moped hire at reception with no problems on return which is nice. We had a free room upgrade on arrival from standard to delux and the room was nice and big, clean and had good air con. We extended our stay we liked so much.

Pros: The breakfast there was fantastic! Had a great variety of good on the menu never had a bad meal. The pinacoladas were soo good and the service was great. We caught a fish fishing and the hotel prepared and cooked it for us two different ways how they recommended. It was really good and very nice of them to do that for us. The staff at the hotel were very accomidating. Check in/out was made very easy.. they had everything we needed there from motorcycle rental to the great pool and the beautiful beach and beachfront restaurant for sunsets. The location was amazing and the beach was stunning. I would highly recommend lanta island resort.

Pros: We've been there during the low season. It means that there are not so many people. The hotel is located in front of the beach and this is a huge advantage. The restaurant at the hotel is not open. You can order in advance only lunch. But it doesn't play any role. We stayed at the triple bungalow. It has all amenities: a safe, a fan, an air conditioner, a fridge, a TV, complimentary water every day, liquid soap. But there are no electric kettle and hair-dryer, but you can ask for them at the reception. Two pools are really wonderful and clean. The views are scenic. Towels for the swimming pool you can ask at the reception. If you need restaurants, cafes and 7 eleven, from the beach you should turn left go through Royal Lanta hotel. At the end of the street at the corner is 7 eleven. 5 minutes from 7 eleven you can turn right and find a bank with an exchange office. There are a lot of travel agencies which can offer different tours for you or you can ask at the reception. They can also organize trips. If you stay during the low season be ready that you can see a receptionist only by the breakfast time. The beach is clean and waves even during a low season are not so high and you can swim but may be not so comfortable for small children. From Krabi airport the route will take about 2 hours including ferry (1800-2000 baht to Krabi private transfer by a taxi, 350 baht per person in a group by mini-van). Wi-Fi in a room and on the territory is free and fast. Territory of the hotel is beautiful and clean. In a low season they offer 4 options for breakfast: 1 fried rice with chicken, fruits, coffee, tea, juice. 2. Two frieds eggs, ham, sausages, vegetable salad, fruits, coffee, tea, fresh juice. 3. Crambled eggs, vegetable salad, fruits, coffee, tea, fresh juice. 4. Omelet, vegetable salad, fruits, coffee, tea, fresh juice. You can order cornflakes and extra bread additionally for free. The only problen is a lot of mosquitoes.

Pros: the Family Bungalows (F1 - F4) around the pool are very nice, new and partly with 2 bedrooms. All of them have a beach view. The beach is ideal for families with children.

Pros: The staff were excellent and helped us be comfortable during our stay. There was a restaurant, bar, and pool, and best of all this hotel is located directly on the beach! There were also several massage places located near by, so you could relax and get a massage while looking at the water. The best selling point for this hotel is that it is on the end of the beach, so the water is less crowded, and you don't have to content with the party scene at night. That said, if you like the hustle and bustle, you can easily walk a few hundred meters down the beach to several restaurants and bars. We enjoyed our stay very much!

Pros: We loved the pool outside our room. It was also great in rainy season as it was very quiet (though be aware not much will be open, so if you're there for the nightlife, go at a different time of year). We would love to go back.

Pros: Beautiful. Huge clean comfy room, big balcony, 4 clean inviting pools. Food in restaurant was really good. Great value for money. Low season - had the whole resort to ourselves, only saw one other room occupied which at this stage of our backpacking trip was welcomed. Free shuttle from reception down to the beach but you could walk it if you wanted to. Friendly and super helpful staff, taxi stand and excursions table to help you book trips.
