Cons:Advertised indoor heated pool out of order. Left and went to another hotel!
Pros:I've stayed twice now, and love it. It's clean, the staff are unbelievably friendly. Breakfast good
Pros:Nice and quiet. Bed was comfortable great to come back and relax after a long day at the horseshow
Pros:Location to downtown and through way
Cons:Pool/rec area not usable because of remodeling. The fumes from the remodel were choking and not ventilated at all. When we informed the manager of this, she was ambivalent about the issue.
Pros:renovations were very nice and the hotel was so quiet
Cons:The staff at the front desk was exceptionally rude when we checked in. The rooms are dated and unclean - our shower had black mold on the ceiling. While the campiness of the "holidome" (an inside pool and arcade located in the middle of the hotel that looks like it dates back to the fifties) was amusing, it did not make for the best view outside of our hotel window. Many of the rooms, like ours, had a view of the inside "dome"/courtyard and absolutely no natural light. The hotel was under renovation, which meant much of it was unusable and the parking lot had a pile of old toilets and dressers (like the furnishings still in our room) in the corner. Absolutely ridiculous that this place is $200/night - we would have been better off staying at the SuperLodge down the street. Then at least we'd only be paying $70/night for what I can assume is the same quality of stay.
