Pros: The fabulous choice of restaurants. We only tried a couple and they were good. The buffet restaurant has a wonderful array of selections. The biggest we have seen. Not exceptional quality but a lot of dishes to choose from.

Cons: The crowds, sometimes it was more like a railway station than an hotel. The rooms while comfortable and clean are showing thier age and are looking faded.

Pros: The rooms were very comfortable and large,well decorated and very comfortable beds. Great location would highly recommend the hotel.

Pros: Loved the size of our family suite! Perfect for our family if 5, with a toddler. Price was great for the size of room. Breakfast choices were good as well.

Cons: The bathroom in particular in our room was disgusting. I found hair everywhere, mildew and mold in corners. I had to call housekeeping for them to clean it again, which they did promptly. They cleaned the best they could but the bathroom is very old, it needs to be desperately remodeled.

Pros: The pool was a massive hit with the kids, as found it diffcult to find a hotel with a pool in Taiwan. The rooms were extremely spacious and comfortable. The beds very amazing. Facilities and location both equally fantastic.

Cons: The rooms are a little dated, carpets could do with being changed and unclean under the beds. However was still amazing stay.

Pros: The room was spacious. We stayed on 22/F which was among the highest in the district so the view was great (although the streets/buildings were a bit old). All staff from bell boy, reception, restaurants to cleaning were all very nice and helpful.

Cons: Our room was the highest grade president suite room. General facilitates were sufficient. However, one biggest problem was that the shower head holder was a broken, it could never hold the shower head probably making it felt down all the time. This is totally unacceptable in such a room grade and 5-star ranked. Secondly regarding the room, the air conditioning control was a fake one. No matter how to set it, the temperature will just be the same. Overall it's ok, just not cool enough. Having a proper gym room is important for me. I don't need a luxury and decent one, I need just basic weights. However, these are limited.... the heaviest dumb bell was just a 20lb (not KG!). The opening hours were another problem. It's already not a 24 hours one, it's even closed from 11am to 2pm during weekdays! Again, this is far from a 5-star hotel service grade not to mention there had no sauna room too.

Pros: The staff was very helpful. They recommended an excellent morning fruit market allowing us to enjoy fresh banana, passion fruit and custard apple. Additionally they went out of their way to help us to recover our booking code for TRA train tickets that we lost.

Cons: Very average breakfast for western. Coffee terrible! Why is the pool closed 11-15 everday? Told is was for maintenance and rest time for life guard! Seriously!!! In the heat of the day is when we want to go swimming. Is the pool for the customer?

Pros: I like that they have pool. But the restrictions they set were not expected. They require caps, & & only lap swimming in the middle of the pool, which means kids don’t have enough room to play in the pool.

Pros: Friendly helpful staff when I arrived early, gave great tips on places to visit in Kaohsiung. I was able to leave my bag before checking in. Short walk to the train station and subsequent MRT for access across the city. Nice clean common area for eating.

Pros: Great location: Right after Kaohsiung main station, walk for 5 minutes to Liuhe night market and Formosa Boulevard station. They equipe the onsen and sauna without fee for in house clients which can helps you really relax after a sight seeing day. Light in room are light and the facilities are sufficent.

Pros: i like the breakfast, it's simple yet so yummy. the bed was comfortable.. the staffs are so friendly. the location was so close to the train station.

Cons: it was not a big deal but the comfort room has to have proper wall.. it was a glass wall so whenever i go to the bathroom i can be seen from the outside. and the location of the double room with private cr is a little bit far from the main hotel.

Pros: So as stated in other reviews, the breakfast was only sandwiches an some water melon and (I think) corn soup, but basically an all you can eat buffet. Dorm was average, pretty much as any other hostel dorm. Pretty clean since any part other than the reception is only to be stepped on in slippers provided by the hostel. The corn soup is provided the whole day as it seemed (I left after breakfast and came home in the evening though so can't really tell).

Cons: Didn't hate it, but the spa is pretty much a collection of medium-clean pools that (very) naked people walk around. I was fine with it but some travellers might not like it.
