Cons: I was asked to sign my breakfast bill the second time because the waitress said they had forgotten to add the service charge in the first bill. My point was: The dinning hall was very crowded, and guests were all running around bumping into each other to get their own drinks and foods; I absolutely did not get any service during the whole time. So I complained when checking out, and they waived the service charge.

Pros: Good location and fantastic services. The staffs are very helpful.

Pros: Love the evening free happy hour at VIP lounge. Also kudos to Ms Zhang fm concierge. She was extremely helpful during our stay.

Cons: That the sliding door for the bathroom was a little bothersome if we need to use the fridge/coffee counter.

Pros: Laundry room in the hotel but limited numbers. 1 on 8th floor and 1 on 10th floor. Not too sure if there are laundry rooms in other floor below 8. Need to “grab” the chance to wash though.

Cons: The staff are generally ok but encountered 2 who are not helpful. Hotel near MRT (on Orange line) but need to change to red line at Formosa Boulevard to go elsewhere. Sewage smell along the corridor of rooms Night market in Kaohsiung is very boring, mainly food. Also much smaller than those in Taipei.

Pros: Staff is very helpful especially doorman. They acted quickly to off-load our suitcase from the taxi trunk and didn’t not insist to escort the luggage to our room. They asked if if we want them to do so only. As others may just want tips by doing so.

Cons: The lobby need to be improved as it looks a bit shabby and dark during night time.

Pros: Generally clean though housekeeping was not consistent. On some days can see that table tops were clean on some days, even sugar and milk was not replenished.

Cons: Given the ok by the lady manning the sauna that it is alright to wrap towel into sauna but was told by a man in the sauna to take off my towel consistently and he claimed he was a 'member' of the sauna. When I clarify with the reception counter, 1 lady said there is no member system for the sauna, then who is that man? Stranger in the sauna of hotel???

Pros: The location is pretty convenient. Near many bus stops and some significant shopping areas.

Cons: The design of this hotel is quite old-fashion and their cleanness needs to be improved. Actually, their bathroom is pretty dirty, totally didn't meet the requirements of five-stars hotels and the towels got some dirty. Furthermore, I always was unable to adjust the air-conditioner's temperatures and fan levels. We couldn't sleepy full night due to extremely cold and freezing temperatures.

Cons: Very cold (17C) inside when it is hot (27C) outside. To get the temperature warmer inside the room for us they only could bring us a space heater so wasting a lot of energy to cool the room and heat it again?? Doesn’t make sense. The mattress also was very stiff, but they brought us mattress toppers which made sleeping a bit easier. The hallways smelled very musty or moldy and the rooms Air was very stagnant and is not able to open a window. I’ve stayed in worse hotels, but expect MUCH more from a 5-star hotel. There was a concierge employee that was very kind to us and he was the only amazing thing about the hotel.

Pros: Good room, good bed, good facilities, have water cooler and free coffee, good location, free towel, helpful staff, affordable price.

Cons: The dorm is very big and there are no curtains on the bunk beds or places to put your bags. Also there is not much atmosphere.

Pros: Spacious room, good pricing €220 for 7 days. Big refrigerator. Coin-laundry downstairs next to the convenience store.

Cons: I saw a dead roach in the bathroom the first day. Couldnt watch tv, it looks like a pay perview system. Noisy, if you have neighbours.

Cons: The Main Branch is quite older and the facilities is quite messy most especially the Comfort room and the spa area

Pros: The Japanese style hot tub was really great. Nice and helpful staff. Though, the selection for breakfast was somewhat limited, still they had good sandwich. Overall it was a good value for money.

Cons: It was not a big thing, but was still a bit uncomfortable that we were placed in a different building than the main one (building for reception, hot tub, canteen). So we had to get around the block with our towels to the hot tub. (No towels in the hot tub, you have to fetch yours from the room.)

Pros: Nice environment and good spa! Very relaxing

Cons: having our room in another block around the corner, not in the main building. couldn't use the facilities there. staff were not always able or didn't want to speak english.
