Pros: Excellent place to stay; friendly and helpful staff. We had a large clean and comfortable room on the 1st floor overlooking the canal. Great breakfasts from the various set menus. Bar and coffee available with a nice outdoor seating area adjacent to the canal. Car parking a short walk away, and the city square is also a just short walk away up the hill.
Cons: Nothing at all that we didn't like
7,9 Good
Pros: The problem is the location, the street is very narrow and if you enter the street with a car, the only way out is in reverse gear which is very difficult.
Cons: the street and no lift
5,8 Okay
Pros: The location and building is very charming. The breakfast staff were very nice and spoke English, which was very helpful. The breakfast quality was also good with a fair choice of eggs/omelettes.
Cons: The bed was awful. The mattress was very old and you felt the springs in your body. In addition, the shower was so small, every time I turned around, I hit the water handle switching the flow from warm to cold... Upon arrival and checking in, there was no one there who was able to communicate to use in English. In addition, the person there was by themselves and was also serving dinner at the restaurant. Hence, did not have the time to be helpful.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Located in a very calm street in the city centre. Friendly staff, always nice to see smiling faces of the waitress at the breakfast. Several options for the breakfast. Good communication, nice room with an amazing view on the castle.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Such a beautiful garden on the canal with a view of the castle. We had a wonderful dinner outside and enjoyed a bottle of excellent wine. The night was quiet and restful.
8,8 Excellent
Pros: The beds were comfortable. The Wi-Fi worked well. Breakfast was excellent. The two biggest detractors for this hotel were the small shower size and the lack of air conditioning. It would be nice if management would provide fans for the rooms. I can imagine it would be quite uncomfortable in the summertime.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Great location near the river and near the town centre. Very peaceful. The room (number 8) was perfect - it had a balcony. Secured parking is nearby. Breakfast (and coffee) was delicious.
Cons: The wifi didn't work so well. The bed was too soft.

Pros: Spacious, lovely garden, lake and a free rowing boat ride at night.

Pros: Great location by the lake and near major sites (centre). Nice view over the lake. Quite pleasant, though old furnishing. The kitchenette was OK - basic equipment. The property keeper was helpful. Wi-fi ok most of the time.
Cons: There is NO parking, despite what the owner says on the website (she knows it). There is a paid hospital car park about 200 m away (10 Czk per hour) but it's not convenient to carry the bags up the busy street.

Pros: Location, everything was walking distance, the house was very well renovated with beatiful garden by the lake. Wr could use their litle boat which was perfect for hot summer days.

10,0 Excellent
Pros: Really quiet, comfortable, and beautiful. I had no problem speaking English.
Cons: No private parking, but there was a lot nearby and the hourly fee wasn't so bad.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: The hotel is perfectly located, just a few steps from the interesting castle. The apartment we used was very spacious and well-equipped. We enjoyed the breakfast, with a great variety of fresh food items. A parking place directly at the hotel was apparently available, but we used a paid parking at the nearby main square due to a confusing e-mail received a few days in advance, stating that the hotel cannot provide a parking space. Nevertheless, when the owner learnt about the situation at our check-out he offered us a generous discount.
Cons: Apart from the e-mail communication with the hotel, its clealiness could also improve a bit. While the apartment was generally clean, the window frames had a thick layer of dust, and looked as if they had not been cleaned for months.
7,0 Good
Pros: very good location, big and comfortable apartment.
Cons: My request for parking reservation on the hotel premises was agreed to by the hotel when making my booking but after my arrival it was refused and I had to park my car overnight on the unguarded public premises some 500 meters away. Our apartment was nice but located on the 3rd floor with very steep stairs- no elevatero of course, no help with our luggage either. Not good for people with any heart or lungs condition or artritits....
8,3 Excellent
Pros: The room was quaint with awesome views out to the courtyard and castle. Staff were friendly and helpful, obliging us to lock our bikes in a secure room.
Cons: The coffee was not that great and maybe espresso or cappuccino might have been made available.
5,0 Okay
Pros: Localization, friendly staff
Cons: Room dirty with unpleasent smell. No hotel car park, only public ( booking say they have, what is not true )
8,0 Excellent
Pros: For a tourist visit to JH, the location is ideal. The restaurant is convenient and good, and the breakfast was nice. Staff is helpful, and the hotel in general is quaint and quirky, but pleasant. The apartment was huge. I'd stay again... but maybe not in winter.
Cons: The room was uncomfortably chilly. It was late November, not even the coldest time of the year. All radiators were working at full power and it didn't help. Also, though the kitchen was stocked with dishes, there was nothing to wash them with after using. The hotel has different rooms/apartments. I'm only speaking of the apartment I stayed in.

Pros: Very nice little hotel just on the main square of the city. Nice rooms and very spatious. Breakfast was also very nice, lots to choose from. Parking is availible in hotels' underground parking garage. All of sightseeing is reachable withing 15min walk distance. Excellent stay for money value - highly reccomend.
Cons: Everything was ok.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Very well located , good parking, and very pleasant, helpful staff.
5,8 Okay
Pros: Location in the centre
Cons: beds not for 4* star hotel (suitable maybe for kids small low and hard ) underground parking for cars quite dangerous to proceed (steep and narrow)
10,0 Excellent
Pros: A beautiful hotel in a lovely location. Staff were excellent, restaurant was great, town is delightful.
Cons: We originally booked a suite, but changed to a family room with spiral stairs, as the suite was in a roof space and felt a bit claustrophobic, whereas the family room had lots of windows and a small terrace. The staff were very good about making this change. The family room overlooked a street, with a small bar nearby. Unfortunately the selfish patrons like to stand around in the street talking loudly until 2am. Might be a case for better glazing in the bedroom of this family room. Or you could throw things at the bar patrons!
4,2 Okay
Pros: Restaurant was good
Cons: All property is old and dated
6,7 Good
Cons: Very old furniture of the room, uncomfy bed. Terrible breakfast in comparison with other places for same price. Was quite hard to drive inside garage with bigger car (steep and narrow) Friendly stuff.
4,0 Okay
Pros: location
Cons: I had to order what I will eat for breakfast and to give exact time when I would like to have it. And in the morning I waited for 20 minutes to get cold scrambled eggs?! On the first day they did not want to serve me a dinner at the restaurant because it was 30 minutes till closing (it was 7.00pm). I would never rate this hotel as a 4 star hotel and will not recommend it.

7,9 Good
Pros: Right on the main square. You get what you pay for.
Cons: It has seen better days; a lick of paint wouldn't come amiss.
8,3 Excellent
Pros: A large room, an earlyish breakfast and pleasant, helpful staff. A good place to buy supper, we ate there each evening. The fish is local and well cooked.
Cons: The decor and fittings were a bit tired, the towels were hard and the hot water varied in the morning. The toilet had an unnnerving habit of tipping with pressure. The room was serviced on the first day, but after that it didn't look as if it had been done.
6,3 Good
Pros: Central location Hot water
Cons: Curtains a disaster. Poor heating Poor decoration Unattractive
7,5 Good
Pros: Location is perfect, in the main square. Staff is friendly and helpful. Quite good breakfast in the hotel's restaurant (not too wide offer, but sufficient if you stay for one night) However if you have breakfast late (it means after 8 in our case) they may run out of some foods Hotel is very cheap, so on the whole it has good value for that price
Cons: Furniture is quite old, some rooms has very limited bathroom (actually just a cabin, separated from the room by a sliding door
4,6 Okay
Pros: Centrally located
Cons: Needs a renovation. Wore out rooms and interior of hotel in general.
