Pros: This place was clean, confortable and easy to find

Cons: Kitchen is small, when all the rooms are booked. Only a table for 4 people to sit on. The temperature inside was very hot.

Pros: Cozy room, clean shared toilet. Kitchen facility and simple breakfast provided are added value.

Cons: Narrow staircase, not easy to move big luggage to the room.

Pros: One of your members of staff, Kitty, was fantastic. She gave us a lift and picked us up and could not have been more helpful! Truly amazing!

Pros: The rooms are clean but the mattress need to be change because its sagging sideway make it difficult to sleep. My room is near the road and noises came from outside window make it difficult to sleep.

Pros: The romm was really nice and clean. There was a dining room with a fully stocked fridge for everybody. Even though the room was without breakfast there was food und drinks (toast, joghurt, fruits, cereal, cheese, tea, coffee and milk) for everybody to take. The hotel is next to a shop.

Pros: conveniently located on the ring road close to many attractions. good restaurant and cafe at the guesthouse.

Cons: Guesthouse difficult to reach never responding to emails or by phone. Breakfast is quite poor, self service without bread, butter, eggs, or other sour food except for some cheap ham and cheese... nothing sweet either except few cheap biscuits and jam. Very few and small towels, also rooms are very small. Quite overpriced for what it is.

Pros: Breakfast was terrific, eggs, bacon, pastries, oatmeal, very robust including fresh fruit and yogurt. Lots of caffeine to help all that food digest nicely.

Cons: Showers were quite small and tight, and would be great to have a bit more room in there. Bathrooms were small but that is par for the course in Europe. I think having a paved parking area would be nice as well and think they are working on that.

Pros: The room is big, very spacious. It provides Basic breakfast. Lotion is fine and close to grocery. Dinner is buffet style yet affordable.

Cons: Upon check in, the staff asked/told us to come after 8:30am for breakfast to accommodate tour groups. Which I found it unsettling and unprofessional to tell your guest to have breakfast at a certain time just because the hotel want to accommodate the tour groups first, Without considering our schedule. And in the mid of drying my hair with hair dryer, the power suddenly turn off, not sure how many rooms was affected but us and our neighboring room is affected. Would that say that the hotel doesn’t have enough power to supply?!

Pros: If you’re driving the south coast of Iceland, I recommend stopping in Hvolsvöllur for a night: it’s not as busy as selfoss or vik but it’s very pleasant. This hotel was super comfy, good beds, clean, warm! Parking was right out front and there are 2 hot tubs outside.

Pros: We stayed at this hotel a second time for a stopover back to the city. Second time is much better than the first time. The room again is very spacious, and location is fine. Staff is much better than the first stay and very informative.

Pros: My husband and I went to Volcano Huts to experience the surrounding mountains and they were superb. The cabins were rustic and suited us perfectly. The lodge staff were extremely accommodating. We will recommend Volcano Huts to our friends.

Pros: Beds have been quite comfortable. It's an easy accommodation out there, so all that is fine. Extra guest kitchen, so you can also prepare your own meals.

Cons: Unfortunately the sauna was not working when we were there. The pool in front is only warm, don't expect a hot pot.

Pros: Beautiful place in the astonishing surrounding close to the southern gems of Iceland. Very friendly owner - Jana - is helpful, informative and flexible in terms of any issues. Great family breakfast, with croissants backed in place, nice clean rooms with beautiful views.

Pros: Great private location for viewing the Northern Lights, which could be seen right from the bedroom window! Typical Icelandic breakfast with plentiful choices so you can start your day with a full belly. There are two secluded waterfalls very close by which were our favorites out of the whole trip.

Cons: Common space in cabin is small and awkward if sharing with strangers. We had the place to ourselves the first night and were taken aback when another couple came in without warning on the second night. It would have been nice to have been warned so we didn't have all of our belongings strewn about.

Pros: It was a small house with two rooms and shared bathroom. The small room had a good and soft bed for two, towels and sink. The room was very clean. From the window I had a nice view of the mountains and sheep. Good signal of WiFi. Breakfast, in veranda, was very hearty - cereal with yogurt, toasts, jam, vegetables, fruits, coffee, tea and etc. Hostess was very nice and friendly.

Pros: We got bathroom next to our's that was helpful for a family stay. Breakfast was good and upon request the owners gave hot water. The owners helped with the nearby pizza place where we had a good dinner

Pros: Really friendly and helpful staff, and a lovely dog. The Guesthouse itself is very comfortable with all the facilities you'd need; and the breakfast (if included) really sets you up for the day. The location is perfect for anyone looking to base themselves within driving distance of the south coast's beautiful scenery.

Cons: Not much at all we didn't like; one thing to potentially bear in mind is the stairs up to the room might be a little tricky if there are any mobility issues.

Pros: The owner of the property is so nice and gentle person. He treated us as if we were his family. Though I was little bit nervous about his dog.

Cons: Wifi network must definitely improve. It keeps lagging and sometimes work and sometimes doesn't. Also, I hope if they would extend its range. Not all travellers have internet access. Therefore we can rely on the network it's being provided by hotels. I also hope if they would extend breakfast time. Finally, since I woke up so early, I gess, I had to leave the key outside with a letter as self-checkout hoping that next time there would be instructions how to checkout.

Cons: Don't have a kitchen (only a kettle and some cutlery). You have to park your car on the other side of the road since the front building is the owner's home and there is no parking space there.

Cons: It was cold in the cottage, when we arrived despite that I specified arrival time beforehand. Property asks to keep the dishes clean, but there was no any dish rag or sponge.

Pros: At the reception in the box for us left the key, as we arrived late, at the door there is a clear map of the location of the cottages - everything is clear and understandable. The cottage itself justified all expectations, the photos accurately reflected it: for four compact people, plenty of space both at the table and in the cottage as a whole. It was neat and cozy inside, the heaters adjusted on arrival, as it was hot, especially in the restrooms, and we didn't want to open the windows, they seem easy to break. Comfortable beds, very warm blankets. We were lucky with the weather and at night we enjoyed the Northern Lights, and in the morning when driving we drove near Eyjafjätlaioküttl towards the Black Beach, which was less than an hour away, so I find the location great!

Cons: - the shutters seemed weak - it would be good to have more signs between the cottages, as there are only pointers to turning to certain cottages and it is not clear to get back to your house and there is a road or a dead end, or your signpost to the cottage will be further

Cons: After receiving keys and cottage number finding the damn cottage was hard. Took us 15 minutes of driving around.

Pros: Wonderful location, nice and clean rooms, and very easy check-in system. Tip: get into the hottub at the back of the hotel, and watch the sun go down while relaxing those muscles. Man, we loved it here!
