The Hotel Nesslerhof is an ideal spot for travelers wanting to discover the city. With Berg-Gesund and Kapellen-Wanderweg - der Pilgerweg im Großarltal both within a short distance, there is no shortage of things to do in the area. This hotel makes a great place to kick back and relax after a long day of sightseeing. Airport pickup can be arranged by the hotel upon request. When it comes to Grossarl hotels, the Hotel Nesslerhof is highly regarded for its excellent facilities.
Pros: Spa, gym, bar, entertainment, proximity to ski schools, rentals, lifts: blue (low, advanced) right in front, yellow (high, all levels) 300m walk. Buffet menu for kids, game rooms. Served dinner of choice for adults. Convenient ski lockers, garage, lockers and change room for last day. Nice unobstructed view from the room terrace, smart layout of the family room.
Cons: Very soft bed. Absolutely no drinks included for dinner for half board package (not even water), overpriced for the dinner served. Buffet choice is limited (not bad), kids were disappointed.
Pros: We traveled as a couple on short notice for an extended weekend getaway (booked the same day); hotel was moderately booked (skiing season is almost done) and we got a surprise upgrade to the main building with balcony (spacious, clean, positioned well such that you get most out of the hours of sunshine); friendly and generally very caring staff (you get a lot of nice little extras – free water and snacks everywhere, complementary bottle of prosecco); spa area is one of the best we’ve ever experienced – as with service in general, they take care of all the little extras (more than enough sun-/waterbeds and silent areas, plenty of nude/non-nude saunas, free beer from Ignaz post his dancing performance to Lady Gaga during the sauna infusion); sensational range of pools (several cold/warm, but also salt water and natural ponds); we didn’t work the gym, but looks clean/spacious/good from the outside; conclusion: given that we traveled beginning of off-season, value-for-money is undoubtedly sensational – we’ll definitely come back and can recommend Nesslerhof to anyone (our first '10' on booking.com)
Cons: If we had to critique one thing, it would be appetizers in the restaurant (beef tartare was a bit salt-heavy, pesto for the buffalo mozzarella was poor in taste); that being said, rest of the dinner (à la carte - game stew, cheese noodles/"Käsespätzle") as well as breakfast offering were very good
Pros: Service, a pool, food, a bar, a balcony in a room. We also had a free access to the spa zone in a day of our check out.
Cons: No WiFi in spa zone
Pros: Location, service, overall appear
Pros: Just awesome!
Pros: The natural beauty/views around the hotel, property, rooms and toilets are well maintained.Super helpful staff ,always smiling.Overall a great stay and not expensive at all.
Cons: Breakfast was the same for 4 nights that we stayed.
Pros: Amazing Spa and Swimming pools
Pros: As the hotel was not booked out at time our visit, we got a great update for free. Thanks a lot for that!
With a stay at Hotel Kristall in Grossarl, you'll be a 1-minute walk from Grossarltal Ski Resort and 10 minutes by foot from Panorama Cable Car. Featured amenities include complimentary newspapers in the lobby, dry cleaning/laundry services, and luggage storage. Guests may use a roundtrip airport shuttle for a surcharge, and free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Wonerful place, kind staff, excellent kitchen. Iam already preparing for the next stay at Kristall!
Cons: The time we have spent there was flying too fast..Excellent
Pros: The food was simply amazing. Half of our family is gluten intolerant and lactose intolerant and that was no problem at all. And the owners were the most kind and helpful people we've ever met in a hotel. They were always very willing to help us plan our day trips and gave us very good advise. The wellness area is very nice.
Pros: Very comfortable hotel with beautiful surroundings. Food is to die for especially dinner!
Pros: Perfect sevice, nice people, rich and tasty breakfasts and dinners.
Pros: The location of the hotel - within walking distance to the lifts (we didn't need to use the car at all), very nice room, very well equipped children playroom and especially excellent food.
Cons: We were very satisfied, so only two details: One waiter was frequently forgetting the orders (and on top of it he was constantly asking "It was good, no?") ;-). And the skis in the ski room are standing in a kind of boxes that are filled w water from the melting snow - it should ideally leak out.
Pros: - Amazing service! A real family hotel where they know you by name and all your wishes - Big rooms with a nice mountain view and a balcony, big comfy beds - Nice facilities: free wellness, bathrobe, ski room, garage in the building - Restaurant where you have your own table during whole stay, amazing food of greatest quality and variety, and I mean that! - Free Wifi of good quality We had absolutely fantastic ski holiday there! Hope to be back one day!
Cons: No ski-in or ski-out. So basically, you should walk - in full ski equipment - uphill then downhill for 200-300m to the nearest ski lift. But there is hope - in 50 m there is a free skibus that goes around whole village and takes you to a Panorama gondola lift in about 10-12 min. Preferable option! Same thing back, from Panorama station take skibus 1 (leaving every 10-15 min) and you are at 50 m from hotel in less than 5 min (one way bus :) )

Pros: Homely feeling, very nice and helpful staff, good food, beautiful setting, very good value for money! Even if it es a remote place and moving in winter can be difficult (for weather conditions we could not drive up the hill to the hotel) we were picked up and the daily shuttle service to Grossarl works smooth and easy. Very recommendable! Thanks a lot!
Pros: High quality hotel, excellent location, very kind and great staff, perfect accommodation services. Highly recommended! We spent an amazing holiday at Hotel Alpenklang and we will choose the same location when we'll visit Grossarl region next time.

Pros: Easy access spacious rooms
Pros: Great: Location, saunawelt, breakfast & dinner, kindergarten
Cons: Small disappointment: 2booked rooms were far from eachnotjer (1st & 5th floor), skidepot w/o guaranted place, english of some staff
Pros: The Food was great and the staff was always very helpful.
Cons: Smoke everywhere, I would wake up few times a night to sit out side to get away from the cigarette smoke that continuously was coming in our room, they smoke in rooms, halls, dinner rooms, bars, only place I could get away from smoke was the pool area and spa. I will not stay here again because of the smoke, it chased me out of the hotel most of the time.

Pros: Location, quality of the hotel and all facilities. Excellent and very friendly staff. Extensive breakfast selection. Beautiful wine cellar and a very good wine list with many top Austrian wines. Wine tasting on Monday evening.
Pros: Really nice hotel, thank you for the whole short but great experience. Attention to details taken to the extreme, literally every member of the staff smiling at you, spotless everywhere, good food, amazing variety of wines to choose from, fireplace, "a la carte" little cosy restaurant, cute wine cellar and so on.. To sum up, I felt like being in "Perfect" soundtrack of Ed Sheeran...the VERY definition of an Austrian chalet, wrapped in style and quality. Congratulations!
Cons: An indoor pool would be a must considering the competition from nearby 4 and 4+ stars around An annoying, unidentified sound in the room after 7-8 am, occurring every few minutes..maybe from the elevator or something similar
Pros: Everything - location , food and Staff
Cons: nothing - you would indeed be a sad person to like anything

Cons: A sauna is present at the hotel, but is only open between 17:00 and 19:00. It would be nice if these times can be extended. We didn't ask at the reception if the sauna was available outside these time, so we are not sure.
Pros: The owner went the extra mile when asking for a bucket of ice! We loved the quietness and the amazing views we had from the third floor (top floor)
Cons: No fridge in the room, no airconditioning, no elevator (carrying suitcase to the 3rd floor) BUT THIS DIDN‘T MAKE THE STAY BAD! We enjoyed every minute there. This is just a comment for fellow guests who choose to stay here.
Pros: ....nice view and decoration! Modern! Lovely carved wooden products!
Cons: Not enought towel!
Pros: We enjoyed every minute staying in this hotel. From the first step to hotel you can feel how much love and passion are required to build such an exeptional hotel. This is how family busines must work. To visit the wood shop next to hotel is a must.
Pros: amazing nature, really nice and spacey room and balcony, all that wooden furniture and many others good restaurants few seconds by walk, great hikes, staff were friendly and also we enjoyed good breakfast I think we did not miss a thing, parking was OK, staff helpful with recommendations, WiFi strong enough etc This was the place I would recommend to stay in couple without doubts. Nature, hikes, bikes, mountains. Its not some 'Livigno partying' place, its calm and making you happy and returning with smile on your face and happy wife :)
Cons: If I had to choose at least one thing that would be the glass opened door to the bathroom, but nothing what bothered us Basically really no reason to complain

Cons: When we arrived at the hotel and wanted to check in, there were no one in the reception, and they had no bell to ring. We waited there about ten minutes, tried to shout "hello", but no one heared us. Finally we desided to enter a door, and we came into the dining room. There we could tell a lady who worked in the kitchen that we wanted to check in, an she told some other staff about that. They were very friendly and excusing when finding out that we had waited, but because there are hardly ever someone in the reception. they should really get a bell or someting so they know when someone arrives to the hotell.
