Pros: Absolutely fantastic hotel. We stayed for 3 nights and I only wished we had extended our booking! The hotel itself is central to everything, all shops, bars and restaurants and the beach is right on its doorstep. It was perfect for us as we didnt want to travel too far and just wanted to enjoy the town of Hua Hin. We loved the overall appearance of the hotel: the decor, fabulous pools and beautiful gardens all add to the overall experience. The staff couldnt have been any more helpful, courteous and professional. They were fluent in English and extremely friendly too. We were made to feel very special, even just for such a short stay. We would love to stay here again in the future!

Pros: The vintage elegance far out weighed the minor lack of facilities that modern 5 star hotels afford you. We stayed in the original wing, and it truly was a thrill to have the feel of the early 20th century grand hotels at our fingertips The staff was noting less than fabulous, and the grounds well kept. This is a must stay !

Cons: Overall there is no walking distance food around the resort at night but we spend most of our evening at the night market or mall, the tut tut provided by the resort is perfect to get around to nearest restaurant.

Cons: wrong info regarding location of room, expected seaside, no access to seaside restaurants for breakfast hotel claimed additional fee of 300 baht if I wanted to enjoy my breakfast at seaside, a joke. Instead I got parking area view for breakfast not good. Price was 9000 Bath pr day. For that price I can get a nice room at Hilton. The area on the wrong side of the road is simply not 5 star maybe 3.

Cons: The main restaurant was under going some renovations during our stay so the hotel didn't have a dinning in option (other then the pool bar area) for evening dinning. Also the roof top bar needed some TLC, and upto 9:30pm the background music in this area could be more aimed at easy listening rather then loud rapping/dance soundtrack. Having said this we found some great options to eat out close to the hotel.

Cons: Curtains should open right where the sliding doors open. With the 2 beds AND the unmovable couch literally 2 inches from the sliding glass doors, one had to turn sideways to reach the end of the curtains all the way to the right, but then have to backtrack underneath curtain material to the middle of the sliding doors just to OPEN the DOOR! In our room, 607 the curtains were installed incorrectly, and such an easy problem to fix.

The hotel has changed hands from De Varee and has very slightly dropped standard
Staff and hotel remain excellent and the position perfect for beach and local amenities
It’s far enough from town to be peaceful yet close enough to enjoy the bars and night market (short Tuk Tuk trip)
Food and drink remain excellent and competitive with local priced, however the hotel would benefit from longer opening times for the bar (plus some more seating) as you have to go to town if you want a beer beyond 10pm
The hotel setup and room haven’t changed since our first visit, but a few things have:
1. Room Service isn’t visible and looks to have been withdrawn
2. Towels are no longer at the pool and provided in a beach bag in the room (nice touch), but there wasn’t any offer of exchange for clean towels while we were there
3. The offer of discount on food and non alcoholic drinks wasn’t automatically discounted on check out
Overall the hotel remains excellent and despite a few changes since it changed hand I would return again and recommend to others

Cons: Location is not the best. The busy street outside is impossible to pass so you must use overpass walkway wich was a bit far away. Felt like we walked 500m to get to Phusita massage shop just opposite the street, same with market village. Beach on right side, however a bit far to the chair renting and beach restaurants.

Quite frankly I only booked this very inexpensive hotel because of the previous fantastic reviews, but they all seemed valid. Was located on quiet side street between main road and beach, and short walk to Garden Villa mall. Found everything I needed for my stay right on my door step. Coin laundry across road, good massage parlor right next door, 24 hour market and beach with chair rental and food options nearby. Met hotel manageress who was charming and seemed genuinely interested in how my stay was going. The room was kept meticulously clean, and I liked relaxed vibe of the place.

Cons: Location ....not in centre ..... I believed from your website I was booking Thipurai City Hotel .... That never came up on the search . All my friends stayed there !!!... and I was 1km away 2 hotels same place .....and SAME NAME !!!

Pros: Bedroom and bathroom both decent size, my room had balcony. Solid wood furniture, with plenty of storage. Quite frankly I only booked this very inexpensive hotel because of the previous fantastic reviews, but they all seemed valid. Was located on quiet side street between main road and beach, and short walk to Garden Villa mall. Found everything I needed for my stay right on my door step. Coin laundry across road, good massage parlor right next door, 24 hour market and beach with chair rental and food options nearby. Met hotel manageress who was charming and seemed genuinely interested in how my stay was going. The room was kept meticulously clean, and I liked relaxed vibe of the place.
Cons: The pool is a public one, a short walk up the street. The pool area itself, restrooms etc were clean but bottom of pool could do with a good clean. There are concrete benches and tables but no sun loungers.

Cons: I check out at 05.00 am each time I leave and the Staff are miserable as you have to wake them up to check you out. Not really a 24 hour Reception if they are all asleep. Even the Security Guard in th car park is unconscious at that early hour.

Pros: The rooms were nice and neat and the bed was very comfortable. The shower, although basic, was excellent. The pool area was lovely and the pool was warm and relaxing. The buffet breakfast was excellent. The hotels location is ideal. Only two minutes walk to the beach.
