Pros (+) The Sheraton North Houston was a last minute stay for me and due to my crazy schedule I booked the wrong dates, but the staff were extremely generous and helped me change the dates without any charges to my non-refundable booking. I was hugely thankful.
Cons (-) The facilities were very nice, but the room didn't have complementary water and the amenities usually found in a hotel room that nice were very limited. I was a bit discouraged because as a traveler, I often depend on these amenities to carry me through short stays.

Pros (+) I liked the overall decor of the hotel. I didn't have to wait that long to check in even with a long line. It was very close to the airport. We stayed both before and after our vacation to Mexico. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was delicious. I love that they offer shuttle service to and from the airport. Also a plus was that we could keep our car parked at the hotel...

Cons (-) If I was staying more than just overnight I would have wanted a room that didn't smell like smoke. I did notice smoke free signs in the hallway, but I know some do not always abide by the rules. The smell was tolerable for a night stay, but anything more, I would have asked for a new room.
