Launder detergent used on sheets was very strong smelling. The fragrance caused asthma issues for my husband. It was not a good night for either of us.
Great location. Great bathrooms.
Enjoyed 5 days at this hotel. The location is the best you can get in Waikiki. It's central to some of the best shopping I've ever seen in the world.
Still new from a remodel. So some things need tweaking.
Mean front desk manager.
We checked in and went to our room. It was hot and the air conditioning was almost useless. The window coverings were missing slats and the hot sun poured in. The building is ancient and the bathroom was disgusting. We were with another couple, whose room was even worse. We checked out an hour later, managing through local friends to find other accommodations. Yeah it's cheap (by Honolulu standards) but not somewhere you would want to stay.
Location was great
The air condition didn't work at first. Weird smell in the room. Some lamps didn't work. Ancient TV. The discount code for the internet didn't work. We had to look for parking by ourselves. The beds were tiny!
