Modest room rate due to local violent riots. Location fairly convenient (but also in the hub of protests and riots).
Definitely not for light sleepers as sound proof is extremely poor. Noises (from traffic, trucks, sirens, pedestrians, and the three bars on the other side of the street) attack throughout the night. And one could hear the coughing of the next door guest. The so-called “suite” that charges much higher is an average room in most 4-star hotels, and smaller than many regular rooms in older (more spacious) 4-star establishments. Stale smoke odor infests the room, though the establishment claims that it is totally non-smoking. It is obvious that no deep cleaning has been done for a long time.
