Location, friendly staff, car parking.
The bed was comfortable and we slept really well there. Our room was quiet even though we were so close to the centre and overlooked a busy road. There was plenty of secure parking behind the hotel. It was only a short walk to the old harbour and lots of restaurants. It did appear possible to order bar snacks but we did not choose to. There was plenty of choice for breakfast, and the staff were helpful. It was nice to have a fridge in our room (with complimentary water) where we could store milk for tea, and a kettle..
We were given a room with a disablity bathroom although we had not requested one, and initially saw no reason to object. However, the wet room floor proved extremely slippy and nearly caused a fall. If we had actually been disabled, no doubt we would have used the seat provided but we were ignorant of the danger and unwary. There was remarkably little storage space in the room - no drawers and the clothes rack was not high enough to hang up a dress. When I inquired, I was told that all the rooms are similarly equipped as regards storage space, so that wasn't because it was a disability room. Although it was nice to have a kettle in our room, there were only little paper cups provided.
Location. 10 min8walk to restaurants and bars.
Lack of food options. 1 member of staff was frosty (pregnant)
Closely located to Honfleur Center
Carpets in the corridor and in the room are outdated and do not look fresh.
Excellent location a 5 minute walk to the harbour. Secure parking to the rear of the property an extra 10 euros but cheaper than the car park opposite. Very clean and comfortable with helpful staff on reception.
Small paper cups instead of crockery for the tea/coffee. However I expect if you requested some from reception it wouldn't be a problem.
Located close to the Pont de Normandie and highway intersections, the Mercure Honfleur hotel benefits from a central location in the historic heart of the city, just 2 hours from Paris. This seaside hotel has modern, air-conditioned rooms. After a day exp loring the city, enjoy the modern decor in the hotel bar lounge. Stroll around the old port or relax in one of the many restaurants that are within walking distance.
