Pros (+) Convenient location to main entrance to Everglades National Park. Front desk staff were friendly. Inexpensive.
Cons (-) The one light switch for ceiling light didn’t work. None of the 4 small reading lights above the beds worked. Shower pressure was poor. Pair of dirty underwear found in dresser. So room quality left much to be desired.
Pros (+) Great value for the accommodations. The pool was pretty and well kept. The grounds were vey tidy and well kept.
Cons (-) No real negatives. The property is a little older, but we'll kept up for that. Everything was clean, in good working order, and promptly serviced.

Cons (-) The Days Inn Homestead was gross, We booked a King size room and had to switch rooms because the AC sounded like a helicopter was about to take off. We switched to room 159 which was a 2 double full beds. We could not sleep together since we are both over 6 feet, so we experienced a sleep alone nights.
