Lovely very modern restaurant and bar area. Great for equestrians. Great views from the upstairs rooms, with a grand balcony. Generally the food was excellent.Overall a really nice hotel
generally it was all fine.
Quiet and well run hotel.
More comfotable seating in bar area.
Recepion staff were very helpful and pleasant.
The downside about being in the family room was it was below the bar, lots of chair scraping and heels clicking above disturbed the children late on.
Friendly staff, excellent food, chef approachable when asked for something slightly different to menu. Unique hotel, where else can you watch showjumping whilst having breakfast! Lovely!

The screeching of chairs from the bar and restaurant could be heard very loudly in the bedrooms above these areas. The main building is not the place to stay if you want a good nights sleep. The hotel is very like a travel lodge, with people staying for one night before catching the early morning ferry to Ireland. The loud clanging of internal doors from 5 in the morning as guests started leaving was very annoying. Due to alterations in the kitchen the menu was very limited, same soup on consecutive days and one meal was sent back as it was inedible
We chose this hotel for the disabled facilities which were very good.
Although the staff were very friendly and apologetic the service in the restaurant for breakfast and evening was poor and the evening meals although neither bad nor good were not very inspiring or good value.Good choice for breakfast was let down by the service.
The rooms were good and the bar facilities and evening meal /dining room was good .
The manager needs some educating in running an hotel . the 2 under managers were excerllent , some of the other staff were not trained very well. But that was down to the manager .
The friendly atmosphere and the cleanliness of the rooms. Also we enjoyed looking round the equastrian centre. Near to beautiful beach
Very nice modern rooms, very friendly staff and nice food.
breakfast very good with interesting orange juice machine!!!!, good views and friendly pet dog "Molly"
staff slightly disorganized at evening meal but hotel only opened recently
