Pros (+) Almost everything was as expected for Holbrook during the plandemic.
Cons (-) Anyone working in the hotel industry should strive to have a cheery, light personality. Most do. The attendant I met when I checked in did not display this attitude. Maybe she was having an off day? No matter, I believe that especially during the plandemic, she should have been more pleasant. Also, if I had known that there would only be “mini pillows” on the bed, I would have brought mine from ho...

Pros (+) Clean room, great staff. Good breakfast. Best restaurant in town (only good place in town) is the Mesa just a 5 min walk. Town is 30 min drive from Painted Desert/Petrified Forest National Park.
Cons (-) Hard bed with low spot in middle. Holbrook is a pit of a town. Nothing but motels, gas stations, fast food and a few dive restaurants. Whole town looks like it's about to pack it in.

Pros (+) I appreciated the staff's friendliness and willingness to make sure my stay was enjoyable. The front lobby was nice and clean and professional. The room was spacious and the bed was relatively comfortable. For the most part, the room was clean. The breakfast in the morning was all inclusive and had a good amount of choices.
Cons (-) I noticed something that looked like mold near the ceiling by the sink area/bathroom. Everything else was clean. There wasn't really anything else that I was unhappy with.
