Pros (+) Almost everything was as expected for Holbrook during the plandemic.
Cons (-) Anyone working in the hotel industry should strive to have a cheery, light personality. Most do. The attendant I met when I checked in did not display this attitude. Maybe she was having an off day? No matter, I believe that especially during the plandemic, she should have been more pleasant. Also, if I had known that there would only be “mini pillows” on the bed, I would have brought mine from ho...

Pros (+) Clean room, great staff. Good breakfast. Best restaurant in town (only good place in town) is the Mesa just a 5 min walk. Town is 30 min drive from Painted Desert/Petrified Forest National Park.
Cons (-) Hard bed with low spot in middle. Holbrook is a pit of a town. Nothing but motels, gas stations, fast food and a few dive restaurants. Whole town looks like it's about to pack it in.
