the room itself was absolutely beautiful and very clean.
unfortunately, on a few occasions, we did hear the noise of shaking pipes either coming from upstairs or next door. It was quite annoying at 5am.
Very quiet room and location.
Very nicely appointed room with spectacular views even though I had a "city" view room. Close to the wharves and shopping areas and well set up for a business person as well.
Being able to talk to someone promptly about any problems
The walls were very thin and you could here everyone in the rooms next to you.
Relaxing, clean, accessable, friendly staff, welcoming, private, very comfortable bed, quiet location, would stay again
Would have liked the room to have a dvd player
Breakfast was included in the price.
The noise of the people in ajoining rooms
The staff were quite insistent that our fridge had been filled with drinks and snacks prior to us arriving. When we checked out we told staff that they were definitely not there. It was not easy convincing them of this. When we booked, 'bookings.com' said we would get a room with a king size bed + a second queen. We were 'free upgraded' to a room with 1 double size bed. Baffling?
The size of the rooms and the buffet breakfasts.
We had to provide some feedback to their restaurant in respect issues during dinner.
Relaxing, quietness. Friendly staff and enjoyable breakfasts and bed was most comfortable
Freezer of fridge on the small side (one 2l ice cream container did not fit).
I like the layout. I have stayed at Ridges(Northside Manor) on a number of occasions but not in the last few years since retiring. Obviously wear and tear is beginning to show however the hotel is well situated and excellent value for money. I would stay in the future and chose to stay because of previous visits.
Room 40 needed a little maintenance/ attention eg loose cupboard door hinges and noisy fridge.
