I made a reservation. They called to cancel it and said they didn't know why the computer allowed me to make a reservation. Sounds like an internal problem that a customer does not need to know about. Will avoid Hertz. They also tend to have people arrested because Hertz's computer system tells them a car is stolen when it's been returned and paid for. Bad business Hertz. You should do better.Reviewed Oct 13 2022

I booked through Expedia and wasn't able to put in our AAA membership and a request for second driver without upcharge. Pickup in Jacksonville was fine. Drop off in Ft. Lauderdale was a little trickier, but seamless.Reviewed Dec 2 2021

Given the wrong pickup locationPros:Nothing, this was a terrible experience. By far the worst car rental I’ve ever had.Cons:Booked a rental to be picked up on Fernandina Beach. Was sent a confirmation with a Fernandina Beach pickup location. When I got there, there was no pickup available , and I was told I needed to go to Jacksonville to pick up my car, at a completely different location. Was treated very rudely, told that the mixup was my fault, because I booked it online. Three hours and a $50 cab ride later, I finally got a car. Treated rudely when I arrived in jaxonville to pick up my car, told I could have picked it up in fernandina, basically that this was my mix up not theirs. Will never rent from hertz again.Reviewed Jun 12 2018
