Cons:I made a reservation at a day in advance and confirmed via phonecall the morning of my pickup. When I called later that day, I was told that all vehicles were sold out. My reservation never should have gone through or been confirmed.Reviewed Jul 1 2020

Pros:Nothing. They were closed at the time i was supposed to pick up my rental (6pm)!!!Cons:Kayak could have been aware of the office hours for the rental location instead of letting me choose a pick-up time that the place isn't open.Reviewed Sep 16 2019

Cons:Staff at Hertz location in FarmingtonHills were not helpful. she was very unresponsive and was not giving me both cars that I reserved until I proved to her that I have two valid confirmation number for two reserved cars. Although I was there with my friend and ask to include him as the driver of the second car she put me as the driver of both cars and asked for additional money to add my friend as the driver. Although it is clear to every human being that I can't drive two cars at the same time. Finally, they gave me a car with faulty engine and closed the office half an hour sooner than the time that they should close the office so I couldn't show them the problem with the car when I came back to the rental office just about 15 min after picking up the car.Reviewed Aug 26 2018

ChaoticPros:Car got me there and back.Cons:Understaffed at Hertz on a Friday summer morning. We had a reserved car. But there were walk ins who were permitted to cut in line per se. I’m not sure what the point was of providing a pick up time if that’s the case. I watched as 2 prepaid customers were told they can’t rent a car. Both were livid as their spouses showed up with paperwork to verify the purchase. Both were told to call customer service. The delay caused me to almost miss my friend’s wedding. The car itself had a faulty USB outlet, and the stations a pain to maneuver in the Malibu. That’s not Hertz’s fault. But we requested a different vehicle. They only promise something similar” Will not use hertz again. We had another terrible experience with them in Florida 2 years ago. Again, there was a line of angry customers. It was the longest line compare with other rental companies.Reviewed Aug 13 2018
