I reserved an intermediate SUV. Got email confirmation from kayak. Went to Hertz and they had reserved for me a small EV. Not big enough to fit my family. They told me if i wanted a bigger car i would have to pay more. They had no record of me requesting an intermediate SUV. They told me that I would have to talk to Kayak to get a refund. They told me they are unable to process refunds and that kayak is responsible for that. I am not sure that is true. I called hertz national customer service and they said they would refund but didnt give me a specific confirmation number. We ended up not getting the car.
