Summary of reviews

Guests say
Guests praised the hotel's authentic atmosphere, friendly and helpful staff, and convenient location near transport and nature. The traditional Japanese meals, especially breakfast and dinner, were often highlighted as delicious and beautifully presented. Many appreciated the relaxing onsen baths, both private and public, and the tranquil sound of the nearby river. Some noted the spacious rooms and unique historical charm. However, a few mentioned that the facilities could use some maintenance, and the lack of elevators or modern comforts may not suit everyone. Overall, the experience was memorable and positive for those seeking a traditional ryokan stay.
