We were upgraded to a better room with a deck so were very happy. The room was nice but older which we didn't mind.
It calls itself a boutique hotel which can be and was an excuse for sloppiness and lack of attention to detail. The room was a very comfortable "superior" room and much larger than most of the others (only 14 in total) but poor management led to a number of inadequacies: a broken drawer handle, a basin tap requiring limescale removal, rotting bath/shower door fittings, a Nespresso coffee machine not working properly, a duvet too small for the superkingsize bed, curtains not hanging neatly due to missing pinchpleat pins. Breakfast is available on the hotel site but is an independent business and no normal Israeli buffet breakfast is provided. The only common areas are the reception and the lovely rooftop with a jacuzzi and sauna available all day. Sadly the rooftop is unsupervised and its coffee machine facilities need attention but more importantly the jacuzzi becomes sticky with oil, despite instructions to guests to shower before using it! The hotel is not cheap and needs to improve significantly by careful supervision of each room prior to guests' arrival.
The breakfast, the decorations
Staff was wonderful and helpful. Breakfast was lovely and the cookies and coffee in the lobby were a nice touch.
Light bulb in the bathroom was out and the safe was locked shut.
I love the rooms - very comfortable.
Wasn't crazy about the change in ownership of the restaurant. There used to be a buffet breakfast, and that's gone now - you ave to order from a menu.
