Pros: The (very good) surprise breakfast brings excitement and curiosity in the morning. The staff is very welcoming and provides great recommendations of things to do and places to eat in the area. Ideal location for the whale cruises.
Pros: Finding it at night can be a bit tricky as the sign is a bit to brightly lit. It is the building on the other side of the police 1km sign when you get of the ferry. If you want to go through the footpaths at night bring a torch.
Cons: Finding it at night can be a bit tricky as the sign is a bit to brightly lit. It is the building on the other side of the police 1km sign when you get of the ferry. If you want to go through the footpaths at night bring a torch.
Pros: The friendly of the owner always ask if everything is okay. The breakfast was very nice and tasty.
Pros: The staff were very friendly and helpful.
Cons: Breakfast was fancy but I would have preferred a bacon and egg option.
Pros: Great breakfasts and what a lovely Hostess
Cons: Ferry wasn’t running due to weather. Could not get to hotel. Notified them but still charged full price.
Pros: Great breakfast
Pros: Beautiful and immaculately maintained. Ideal location. Lovely breakfast and good value.
Cons: The room was about 50% smaller than it needed to be for two adults to feel comfortable. Not enough space to move around or to keep luggage. The bathroom was a little small as well. Finally, thankfully the place was nearly empty because I could tell that the soundproofing was not good. All in all, nice place but one night was enough.

Pros: House had great character, beautiful location in forested are near ford. Communal kitchen well equipped. Outdoor jacuzzi!
Cons: Everything fine as long as you don’t mind sharing bathrooms. Rooms basic.
Pros: This is a little gem near Tadoussac so close to the fjord. Lovely facilities. We loved using the BBQ and hot tub in the forest. You are completely outdoors but also very comfortable.
Pros: Good stuff from France. You should view around to access Fjord. There have the beautiful view.
Cons: little in convenient to the wooden house with strangers.
Pros: We really enjoyed everything the bed was extremely comfortable the room was very private the facilities were clean the hiking was amazing the views were fantastic close enough to the whale watching but far enough into the mountains that we got the nature experience we so much enjoy. The hot tub was such an awesome add on we used it each night we stayed. There's so much to hike and see and explore all around the lodge you could stay for a whole week and continue exploring. we were pleasantly surprised to find every morning fresh bread fresh jams and coffee at no charge. The private balcony off of our room really added to our relaxing experience
Cons: The only thing I didn't like was how easily sound travelled through the house. But they provide the BEST fans and they honestly drowned out any noise we could possibly hear.
Pros: This place is really magical, a quiet peace of heaven in the woods. It made us feel happy.
Pros: We had a room in the main building. Very nice young woman at the front desk. She helped us with our whale-watching reservation. Beautiful place, chalet style. Wooden building, warm and cosy, with nice smell coming from the fireplace. Common living room with books and games, common kitchen and two bathrooms. Other customers were also nice and friendly. There's a jacuzzi hot tub outside. 5-minute drive from small town with grocery store. 20 minutes from Tadoussac.

Cons: Mattress a little uncomfortable but ok
Pros: Good location, wonderfully helpful and smiley owner, lovely breakfast, comfortable lounge to use.
Pros: Lovely hostess who took the time to talk us through the facilities and the spots in Tadoussac. The room is very comfortable and the breakfast was lovely.
Cons: Very strong perfumed smell in the room was quite overwhelming.
Pros: Great location !
Cons: Breakfast table too small. Host too present,
Pros: Ella was simply the SWEETEST host you can imagine! And I have never slept in more soft feeling sheets!
Cons: Leaving the shoes downstairs.
Pros: The location: excellent. One can walk anywhere in the town from this bed and breakfast. Hela, our hostess, was extremely helpful and friendly. She also permitted us to leave our car parked in her parking lot while we went on the whale watching cruise, instead of having to pay a $10 fee in a municipal to parking lot.
Cons: We stayed in one of the two rooms that shared a bathroom. That was not a problem. But one must walk past the breakfast/dining room table with people sitting around it in order to get to the bathroom. Also, it would be helpful if there was a small table or stand on which to put a suitcase, rather than on the floor.
Pros: Charming old house, well kept and furnished in the matching style. Fantastic location, in the centre of Tadoussac, walking distance to the harbour With own parking. We had the most fancy breakfast ever, table was laid with love and crystal glasses, very good breakfast with lots of sweet cake, cereal, fresh fruit, bagles, not savoury more on the sweet side. Very nice hosts speak french and english
Pros: Great location with beautiful view of the water & easy walking distance to village sights/restaurants.
Pros: Everything! The hosts were such a lovely couple, their place was warm and cozy, breakfast was delicious and location was amazing.
Pros: Location was excellent. Owners were friendly and helpful.
Cons: Our room was extremely small Very low ceilings/slanted made for a lot of bumped heads
Pros: Loved the experience overall ! As always !
Pros: The host was very welcoming and hospitable. The location is great.
Pros: The breakfast was a nice size plate with a choice of either salty or sweet. We chose salty and got an egg, sausage, bacon, hash browns, fruit, a crepe and toast as well as coffee or tea. It was fast and efficient and the restaurant was completely modern and up to date with funky furnishings and chalkboards. Cool place.
Pros: The room was lovely! We were In the motel bit and it was so nice. One of our favourite places we stayed. Lovely decor and very clean and homely.
Cons: Email correspondence with staff before hand was a little abrupt and room was a bit cold.
Pros: we had a separate Building with our own entrance. upon request the staff gave us Electric Converters without deposit
Cons: the staff gave us only recommendations for boattrips to see Belugas, when there are very good viewing Points from the Coast also (Cap Noir)
Pros: Parking was right behind the room
Cons: The room was rather small and I was given to understand from the website that it would have a bit of ocean view but threre wasnt' at all
Cons: The receptionist explained to the couple ahead of me all about the property and nearby sites. She gave them coffee and a map. I received none of these nicities...
Pros: Very friendly staff, clean and comfortable room, easy to heat up in the fall when it gets cold outside.
Gite du Goeland offers views of whales from the front patio and a home-made breakfast in the morning. The Tadoussac Golf Course is 1 km away. A work desk is included in each guest room at Le Goéland. A shared bathroom is available. A kitchen is available for all guests at any time of the day. Guests can enjoy a massage or gather around the fire pit in the evenings. Hiking trails and boat tours are 10 minutes' walk from the Goeland Gite Cottage. A beach is less than 5 minutes away on foot.
Pros: Really clean!!!! And the owners gave us really good tips for restaurants and sightseeing. The communal bathroom was no problem for us because it was properly and cleaned every morning. We really enjoyed our stay!!!
Cons: We missed some good glasses for read wine :-) (we were unable to bring our ones because we traveled by plane).
Pros: Friendly owners and in a nice area
Cons: Had one room in the apartment of the family and above us were the other rooms, so we had noises from above and the family. Woke up every morning either from other guests passing buy our window to their cars or from the families child. Didn’t feel like a bed & breakfast, more like a couchsurfing place but definitely too pricey for that. Skip the breakfast at their place, might be good, but you’ve to do it on your own and you should be early. There are many really nice places around which serve really good breakfast. All in all nice owners but room number 5 should definitely not be offered anymore.
Pros: Amazing people are running this beautiful place, the best to visit the area, know local places and culture, have a sailing day with them! They gave us useful information, can’t wait to be back to visit them!
Pros: Very friendly atmosphere, perfectly located. The recommendations regarding excursions and dining options met our expectations or were above them.
Pros: Hosts were really helpful orienting us to things to do in town.
Cons: Simple thing. There was a sink in each room but the separate toilet and shower room did not have a sink. Would have liked to wash hands before leaving the toilet. This would not stop me from recommending the place though. Overall it was great
Pros: Super nice hosts! Really cozy apartment with an astonishing view to the sea. They were so nice to rent me a hat, binocular and a fatbike. And they told me which hiking trails to do. I was not disappointed at all. The apartment and the kitchen are nice.
With a stay at Hotel Sous La Croix in Tadoussac, you'll be within a 5-minute walk of Saguenay River and Parc National du Fjord-du-Saguenay. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Very helpful and friendly staff (they organized whale watching tour with a shuttle service to and from the hotel). Very cozy and clean room, balcony with a view on the bay.
Pros: The owner/hostess was full of helpful information and even booked our whale watching tour for us since we didn't speak French! Great view of bay as well!
Cons: The outer walls were thin so could hear people coming and going. Also could hear voices from other rooms .
Pros: Very clean, loved the heating in the room, shower is good and staff is super friendly and welcoming. Super close to the heart of Tadoussac and the shared facilities are great to cook and have lunch/dinner.
Pros: The hotel is located a hill just on the outskirts of the center. It has a nice view of the harbor and the St.Lawrence. Their is plenty of space to park your car. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The hotel also looks nice (old English style), outside and inside.
Cons: The hotel doesn't have a lift, which can be a problem for older people. It is however only 2 floors so not that high. The fact that the hotel is located on the outskirts means that it is a 10min walk to the small towncentre, and back it is uphill.
Pros: Location is easy to find. Not far from commercial and restaurant area.
Pros: The staff is super nice! And the location is perfect
Thousands of years of natural hospitality. Set a course for Tadoussac- a picturesque village standing at the edge of the boreal forest near the Saguenay fjord and a stones throw from the sea. Tadoussac was a major trade area for aboriginal people; a whale and beluga hunting ground; a safe harbor for explorers Cartier and Champlain; and a vacation resort as early as 1864. The Tadoussac Hotel with its whitewashed walls; maritime colors; red roof; dormer windows;and cupola marking the centre of the building calls to mind an enormous lighthouse standing not quite a cables length from the magnificent sandy beach nearby. The hotels silhouette is like a beacon, for generations navigators have been using it as a Landmark when piloting their vessels in the St. Lawrence. The buildings architecture testifies to the close bond between Tadoussac and the sea. As you look out from the hotel terrace, you will see an ocean of green; marsh hay; sails; boats; sea foam; and in the distance, whales. This prestigious vacation destination long treasured by wealthy American tourists was little known by Quebecers until the early 1980s. The Tadoussac Hotel has seen its popularity steadily increase drawing tourists; specialists; and Naturalists from around the globe that come to watch whales In a superb natural setting. In addition, the charming coastal Village casts its own spell over our guests. Couples on a Romantic getaway; outdoor enthusiasts; ecologists; and Amateur photographers set out on the St. Lawrence Heroically braving the elements for a chance to see whales up close. A stay with us is what you want it to be- a haven of tranquility/ your springboard to adventure- the perfect place for a tete-a-tete with that special someone or a great family vacation. The Property is open seasonally from May to October.
Pros: Excellent location at Tadoussac beach. The rooms are spacious and the bed was very comfortable.
Cons: We didn't have a good experience in the bar and with the bar staff. The wine we returned because it tasted off was still billed to us. The bar staff was unfriendly. In general, I personally think the house could use some renovations here and there, especially the bathrooms.
Pros: Great location.
Cons: Like many old hotels in the 'grand' style the interior is looking a little tired and in need of refurbishment. It could be a really nice hotel but it gives the impression of trading on former glories.
Pros: Just a delightful place to stay.
Cons: Weather could have been kinder.
Pros: Dinner was excellent. Whole experience was excellent
Cons: Not applicable
Pros: - top location - beautiful historical Building

With a stay at Hotel Le Pionnier in Tadoussac, you'll be just steps from Parc National du Fjord-du-Saguenay and Saguenay River. The front desk is staffed during limited hours. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Not a bad view of the bay, apart from the power poles and wires. And a decent breakfast, cooked to order and very quickly prepared.
Cons: No blackout curtains, and outdoor lights on all night. Thin walls, so be prepared to listen to your neighbours. Fixtures and fittings that have seen better days. And only one free coffee pod per room. You pay for any extras. In a nutshell, not good value for money, especially at just under $200 per night after taxes.
Cons: Not much
Pros: The bed was very comfortable
Cons: It was a little outdated
Cons: Beds uncomfortable. This is a motel really.
Pros: The room was renewed so is was nice and clean. Breakfast was good althghou they didn't have gluten free bread.
Cons: The room was small and also the shower was small, and we are not big people. There was no gluten free bread for breakfast.
Pros: Room had coffee machine but no milk or coffee satchets, had hair dryer and fridge, fan. It was on ground floor so we dint hv to climb. Location was amazing. We could walk everywhere. Intermarche supermkt next door and boutiques and restaurants on street. Lovely river view in front. Jetty for whale cruises within 5 minutes walk. The lady at reception(feel terrible tht we dint get her name) was wonderful. Since we dint have a car, she picked us up and dropped us to the intercar bus stop which was 1.5 kms away over steep incline. We are really grateful to her. She refused to take payment. Amazing customer service. Fixed breakfast was available fr 9 CAD. We hd omlette, 2 toast and butter, potato wedges, bacon or sausages, cut fruit, coffee and orange juice. You have to pay 1.5 CAD fr each extra. Though the staff does not speak english at all, we managed with gestures. They were very sweet ladies, always smiling and helpful
Cons: Room and Double bed was small in standard double room. Unless you are a young romantic couple, it is a bit tight. Also light was quite dim. Wifi dint work on the first day and on our last day morning. Shower cubicle is tiny
Pros: Well located, even though the village is small and everything is nearby. The rooms are comfortable and neat.
Cons: Too expensive for what it is, moreover without breakfast.
With a stay at La Galouine Auberge & Restaurant in Tadoussac, you'll be just steps from Parc National du Fjord-du-Saguenay and Saguenay River. The front desk is staffed during limited hours. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Fab location right in the centre of town. Room was small but functional and parking right outside was great.
Cons: We were in a separate building on a different street to the Auberge, which was fine in itself, but a bit annoying when we needed to speak to reception. The locks on the doors are very hard to work out - make sure you ask the staff for a demo before you leave the front desk!
Pros: Food at the restaurant was excellent. Room was spacious and comfortable.
Cons: Window coverings inadequate.
Pros: Nice, clean, spacious room. Mainly wooden, so cosy and warm atmosphere. The hotel is also a restaurant, so easy to get dinner/breakfast (and discounts available for guests).
Cons: Had to double-check the check-in times window, as it mentions 6pm max on the website, but it is possible to arrive later (worth giving a call to confirm).
Pros: The overall atmosphere of the room - very east coast feeling
Pros: Well located, cute.
Cons: Bathrooms not attached to rooms- down stairs in our case.
With a stay at Motel ChantMartin in Tadoussac, you'll be a 1-minute walk from Saguenay River and 9 minutes by foot from Parc National du Fjord-du-Saguenay. The front desk is staffed during limited hours. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Right on road side and just a few mins drive from city centre Good wifi
Cons: No fridge and no aircon
Pros: Parking great and good restaurant on site.
Cons: Bed was a bit uncomfortable.
Pros: From other motels in Ontario this one from Quebec looks to be very good. First of all, don't forget this is a motel. So you will not get the same facilities like a hotel. The dinner is not included in the price. The one you can have at the motel's restaurant is pretty basic. We went there with 2 kids (2yo and 4yo) and it was relatively ok taking into consideration it was just for one night.
Cons: Be careful, room n30 doesn't have wifi at all. So if you need Interned offered by the motel, ask for another room.
Cons: Hooks needed in washroom. Shampoo and conditioner missing.
Pros: Good 2 star hotel with comfortable beds, parking in front of the room, fast check in, walking distance from city center
Cons: Close to main road, could be noisy
Pros: I loved the staff friendliness and availability. They offered to help us book a shuttle for the whale watching cruise. The seafood at the restaurant is just devine and is very reasonably priced. We were 4 adults, we ate as royalty and the bill was less than 200$ and that includes alcohol and tip! The service was quick and courteous. I absolutely loved my stay and would recommend it without hesitation. However what made me give 10 stars is that we had a medical emergency and needed to cancel one night. I got fully reimbursed with no penalty or what so ever. The staff worked with booking.com to reimburse one night stay!
Pros: Pull out this property from Tadoussac. Than, I will like ALL AROUND it..
Cons: Hangry place A shame for housing in the beautiful region of Tadoussac. Mediocre or absent communication. The receptionists play the Gatekeepers to isolate the owner from answering client requests: Neglect of clients. Do not book in this dump.
Pros: The location, panorama and free bus to the town are good. The room is clean.
Cons: The shower is very poor and where no fridge in the room

Every guest room at the Maison Gauthier features a private bathroom. A seating area and cable TV are also included. Auberge Maison Gauthier features a garden, as well as a computer with printer centre. Local whale watching tours and kayaking are available nearby Maison Gauthier. Pros: the location is fair with easy access near the highway, however, can be noisy during the day and at night because of passing cars. the environment is friendly, people are nice. they helped me book for whale cruise on the spot. breakfast is humble. coffee available most of the time. i like the area, it is a small village with many restaurants some of them are expensive.
Cons: it is basically a house that has been renovated into hotel. the suits is basically 2 very small connected rooms with one bathroom. there is no TV in the room. when i walk, the wood make noise and people downstairs could hear my footsteps. i requested hot water to drink tee, the water was provided in a thermos. it seems that it was used for milk because the water was mixed with remnants of cheesy milk.
Pros: Breakfast was OK,,property is really a 3* not 4,, though room clean
Cons: Truck noise on highway 24 hr/day
Pros: Very helpfull
Pros: Nothing the bathroom was in a closet could sit on toilet and wash hands in sink at the same time. No hot full breakfast as advertised b&b and no chef since April and not advertised as such only bed and cornflakes slices of cheese and stale croissants. No refunds for sub breakfast and we asked will not use booking.com again unless something is corrected

Featured amenities include complimentary newspapers in the lobby, dry cleaning/laundry services, and luggage storage. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: It had not includ price and continental breakfast for seven dollars very poor and low quality and very weak internet and so small room without basic amenities like boiling water device and very bad mattress.
Cons: I believe it is not qualified to be a hotel. It hasn't very basics for this name.
Pros: Location was convenient - within walking distance to the town, walking paths, restaurants. This establishment is also pet friendly. Travelling with two small dogs was easy however pet charges are somewhat excessive.
Cons: Too many smokers.
Pros: Location was ideal. Front desk staff was very good.
Cons: Was very much a motel but served our purpose.
Pros: The hotel is situated near the ferry terminal and easy to find. The check in was quick and very friendly, we got lots of useful information what to see and where to go.
Cons: The breakfast is just continental and simple. Our room was rather small, not much space to place the baggage.
