The facility is beautiful and clean. The pool is large and excellent for swimmers. The ocean is terrific
Our reception was horrible. Upon getting to the room we noted it smelled of smoke. They then argued with us when we asked to see if there was another room. They have multiple restaurant types, one of which is Greek. On two days of our stay we were told the Greek restaurant was closed because of low numbers of reservations. We were encouraged to eat in the Asian restaurant. I wondered if we were actually in Greece. Upon arrival we found out that there is no restaurant where a man could enjoy a dinner without wearing long pants. And here I thought we were at a really nice seaside summer resort. How dumb of me...For the most part the staff was cold and almost non-caring. This place has no SOUL. We do not recommend the hotel to anyone.
stunning building architecturally; gives a truly memorable first impression and a relaxing ambience for the stay - the main restaurant is beautiful with a water feature - lovely beach and enormous pool. The best pool I have ever seen in a hotel - excellent spa - good range of treatments and professional staff - the beach bar is beautiful. I have very good memories of stunning sunsets over a cocktail - the staff - all extremely kind, friendly and welcoming ( except for housekeeping but that is normal) - the quality of food in all the restaurants was first class. Although expensive I enjoyed the food in all particularly the asian and the cretian
the rooms - on arrival I was “upgraded” to a family suit. I thought this was odd given I was on my own and really didn’t need 4 beds but I said nothing. It soon became apparent that I had been given a lower quality room as they clearly needed to get rid of them and assumed I would not complain. The room was dark, dingy and old. It was also on the ground floor so as a lone female I felt unsafe leaving the terrace door open. I asked to move and was moved fairly quickly to a smaller but infinitely nicer room. I was just angry that I had booked that room in the first place but got “upgraded” to a worse room - service at breakfast in certain areas of the restaurant was appalling. I waited 35 mins one day for eggs and regularly 15 - 20 mins for a coffee. Not acceptable - as a solo traveler I never got offered the best seats in the restaurants and always got worse service than other tables - housekeeping was late and inconsistent. Sometimes it did not arrive until 3-4 pmwhich is far too late if you want to use the room in the afternoon - wine in the restaurants was eye watering my expensive - 17 euros was the cheapest in the Italian and steakhouse for 75ml!!! I didn’t know a measure that small even existed in a licensed bar - location - the hotel is really in the middle of nowhere. Great if you have a car but if not you fee quite isolated as nothing is within walking distance. The bus stop with hourly bus services to bigger towns is about 10 mins walk away - also I found it a bit shocking being asked to pay my whole accommodation bill within 5 mins of arriving! Usually a card is given for a guarantee but not the full payment. In addition on my last day reception rang me asking what time I would be leaving as someone else wanted my room early! Again a bit shocking to be asked this when I had another 24 hrs to go of my holiday
The hotel was a great size with all the facilities you could hope for.
Great staff that is very welcoming, always helpful and with a smile. The hôtel is itself very beautiful and If you want a restful and calm location with only the sea nearby it’s definitely for you.
There is nothing nearby. You need at least a 10 minute drive to get anywhere.
Hotel is amazing and staff is friendly most things in hotal is not allowed pets
