Pros:It's 10 minutes from downtown Gettysburg and is adjacent to a larger set of hotels that were hosting an event we were attending. The maintenance staff seemed friendly, though my interactions with them were limited.
Cons:AC hadn't had its filter changed since smoking was allowed in the rooms. Turning the AC on made our room smell like cigarette smoke and I had trouble breathing for all three nights of my stay. My nose bled and I woke up hoarse. They charge $10/night/pet--CASH!--and would not give me a receipt at the time of transaction. There was a dead roach on the side of the bed when I first entered the room. Bedding was sparse--instead of a fitted bottom sheet, the bed had 2 top sheets and a comforter that probably hadn't been washed in ages. The comforter had burn holes in it, which suggests it is as old as the appliances in the room. They were also the color of nicotine staining, for what that's worth. The pillows were hard and felt congealed, which is what I would expect of pillows that haven't been changed in ages. The room was not laid out well and it was difficult to get to the sink.
